Nana Aisha's role during Caliphate:

Due to her knowledge of Quran and Sunnah/Hadith, Aisha (r.a.) became involved in the politics of early Islam and the first three caliphate reigns.

During a time in Islam when women were not expected, or wanted, to contribute outside the household, Aisha delivered public speeches, became directly involved in war and even battles, and helped both men and women to understand the practices of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh).

During Caliphate of her father Abu Bakr Siddiq (ra), Aisha was honored with titles *‘Al-Siddiqa bint Al-Siddiq’ - the truthful woman, daughter of the truthful man*.

During Caliphate of Umar Ibn Khattab (r.a.), Aisha (r.a.) continued to play the role of a consultant in political matters.

During Caliphate of Uthman ibn Affan (r.a.), Aisha had little involvement with him for the first couple years but eventually she found a way into the politics of his reign.

During the Caliphate of Ali ibn Talib (r.a.), Nana Aisha (r.a.) retired from her public role in politics and became a teacher in Madinah.

*Lessons:*

Every woman can or should earn rewards by participating and contributing to the development of the society.

In Islam there is absolutely no difference between men and women as far as their relationship to Allah is concerned, as both are promised the same reward for good conduct and the same punishment for evil conduct.

Evidences:

▪️The Qur'an says: *"And for women are rights over men similar to those of men over women...."* 📚(2:226)

▪️The Qur'an, in addressing the believers, often uses the expression: *'believing men and women'* to emphasize the equality of men and women in regard to their respective duties, rights, virtues and merits.

*"For Muslim men and women, for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in charity, for men and women who fast, for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah's praise, for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward".* 📚(33:35)

My People!

We must remember that, NO WOMAN will be much useful to herself or her society if she is not educated (Islamic and or western education). This is why every parent or guardian should lay . MORE EMPHASIS on the education of female children.

My People!

Is it a crime to sponsor the education of your female children when they are in their husband's house? Did you take sponsoring your female children education after giving them out for marriage a waste of resources?

it is not a crime to sponsor the education of your female children when they are in their husband's house. Yes. Let her husband concentrate on feeding her while you pay the bills for her to finish her university education (if her husband is not yet boyant to shoulder all her responsibilities). At least you have saved your daughter & the innocent guy from committing zina. Yes. Marriage does not prevent achieving educational goals.

Today,

We are in desperate need of MORE female doctors and nurses, so that, Muslims can agitate for laws that will allow our wives to be handled by women doctors and nurses in the hospitals. But when we *(as parents & Muslims)* have failed in our responsibilities of investing on our female children education, we will be left with no option than to fold our arms looking at a foreign men (in most cases, christian men) to be romancing our women under the umbrella of treatment and surgical operations.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
