[[---- Part 6-of-16 ----]]---------------------------------
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Nana Aʾishah (r.a.) relieved the Prophet's grief when he was suffering the hardship of life and whenever he faced opposition in spreading the message of Allah.
She endured poverty and hunger with the Prophet (PBUH). According to many sources, it is said that they both spent two or three months without cooking. All what they feed on were just dates and water.
My People!
Even though you're unfortunate to be married to a weeked, irresponsible or ill mannered man, if you swallow his mischief with the intention of expecting compensation from Allah (swt), Wallahi you will never see your marriage as a failure.
Sisters in Islam!
Due to the patient, enduring nature of Nana Aʾishah exhibited in her marriage, below are some of the Blessings of Allah which distinguished her from all other women:
Following are some of many blessings from Allah which distinguished Nana Aisha (r.a.) from all other women in the world except Maryam bint Imran, the mother of Prophet Esa (A.S):
1. The Angel showed her image wrapped in green silk to Prophet (PBUH) and told the Prophet Muhammad that this was the picture of the lady chosen by Allah to be his consort both in this world and the next.
2. Nana Aisha (r.a.) was the only wife of the Prophet (PBUH) who had not been previously married.
3. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) died in her house/room, on her day, in her arms and he was buried in her house/room.
4. She was the daughter of the loyal and true friend of the Prophet (PBUH), Abu Bakr Siddiq (R.A).
5. She was born a Muslim and had been brought up in a pure environment and spent her formative years with the purest and best of all creatures i-e Messenger of Allah.
6. Among her unique characteristics is that the Prophet (PBUH) did not receive Revelation in the bed of any of his wives apart from Aisha bint Abi Bakr (R.A).
So,
Marriage is an act of worship and its success depends on the sacrifices and endurance exhibited by the couples especially wives. Yes. Gone are the days when the successes of every marriage depends on the husband's patient, endurance and support. Today, the opposite is the case. The success of every marriage depends on the patient, endurance and how supportive the wife is.
And,
Being supportive does not completely mean a wife contributing financially to the smooth running of the family, No!.. It means having abilities to swallow every hardship in marriage. If the husband's pocket is wet, she shower love. If the pocket is dry, she shower more love.
