Types of martyrs in islam

Types of martyrs in islam Alhamdulillah, الشهداء the martyrdom are those who die in the path of Allah s.w.t to raise the religion of islam and Sunnah of rasulullah against the kuffars and misguided peoples.  Allah s.w.t ranked such people are the best in degree among mankind sacrificing the life of this world for the hereafter. They are [varying] degrees in the sight of Allāh, and Allāh is Seeing of whatever they do. So our good deeds are never the same as those who struggle and have hardship in life yet believers and remain steadfast have higher degree in the sight of Allah than those who remain behind and tasted the sweetness of this world.

Reward Nullifiers

Today, we see Muslim faithful talking/discussing, pressing phone, running from one Internet site to another and even answering phone calls while the imam is on the Minbar saying Friday Khutbah (sermon). All these actions are actions which nullify ones jumaat reward completely. Also, playing with things like our fingers or any body part, clothes, items, car keys etc is prohibited. In fact, even saying of Salam to someone is not permissible at that moment. My people! Those who attend Jumu’ah prayer should be quiet and listen attentively to the imam when he is preaching. It is not permissible to speak to others, even if that is to tell them to be quiet. Whoever does that has engaged in idle talk (laghw), and whoever engages in idle talk, his Jumu’ah prayer does not count.  📚Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 892; Muslim, 851). Furthermore, ➡️ Did you know that: Aus bin Aus (RA) reported: The prophet (pbuh) said, *“...

Effects of Zina (Fornication, Adultery) before marriage

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 14th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Thursday, 17th October 2024). *_Effects of Zina (Fornication, Adultery) before marriage_*. BismilLah. Zina (either illicit fornication for those never-before-married, or adultery for those who have been married) is one of the gravest sins a Muslim can commit, after ascribing partners with ALLAH, murder, and disobedience to one’s parents. In the Qur’an, right after the prohibition of killing one’s children, ALLAH Most High says: “And do not even go close to Zina! Truly, it is a gross obscenity and an evil path (to go down).” [al-Quran, 17:32]. This verse is not just about prohibiting the act of zina itself, rather, we are told not to even go near it through anything that may lead or invite to it.  Pre-marital contact of an unrelated man and woman for unnecessary reasons is not allowed in Islam, even if marriage is the eventual goal. This kind of relationship before marriage only invites curses of AL...

Do not be obsessed about the success of others.

Story to reflect.  Do not be obsessed about the success of others.  There once lived a young woman who had a neighbor. The neighbor had a child and this child was very skilful and handsome. But her son was dull and weak and due to that she was jealous of her neighbour's child.  One-day, she called the child and sat with him and then ask for food and gave him the food. In the food was laced with poison as the child was enjoying the meal.  As the child ate the food, he was not conscious or nothing happened to him so she was surprised.  She went to the room and saw her child on the floor died.  She looked and saw the food she prepared for the neighbor's child was eaten by her own child.  It was delicious and tasty than his.  She regretted of her jealousy and trying to harm other's children.  A lesson is in life, when we do good to others and happy for their success will we also be happy and Allah will provide for us what he has given to th...

Depression and how to fight and overcome it.

Depression and how to fight and overcome it.  Alhamdulillah, there is no disease or sickness or fatigue but islam has taught us how to deal with it.  Depression or anxiety is one of the disease that kills many youth and peoples today.  And this is as a result of lack of eeman and acquiring of worldly life rather than hereafter Allah says in Quran,  Ta Ha 20:124 وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِى فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ أَعْمَىٰ  And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed [i.e., difficult] life, and We will gather [i.e., raise] him on the Day of Resurrection blind." Anyone who forgets Allah and does what his wishes will have a depressed life and life of difficulty. Because this is a punishment of Allah for a person He might have everything in life but will feel empty and like not willing to live his life in this world. The cure is turning to Allah, reciting Quran and knowing this dunya is ...

JUDGEMENT DAY IS A FACT

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 13th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Wednesday, 16th October 2024). *_JUDGEMENT DAY IS A FACT_*. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 21:47: وَنَضَعُ الْمَوَزِينَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَـمَةِ فَلاَ تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئاً وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا وَكَفَى بِنَا حَـسِبِينَ (And ALLAH shall set up Balances of Justice on the Day of Resurrection, then none will be dealt with unjustly in anything. And if there be the weight of a mustard seed, ALLAH will bring it. Sufficient is ALLAH to take account. (Surely, ALLAH wrongs not even of the weight of a speck of dust, but if there is any good (done), HE doubles it, and gives from HIM a great reward.) (And each person will be paid in full of what he did;) meaning,...

The story to reflect from the Hadith

The story to reflect from the Hadith,  Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "While three persons were walking, rain began to fall and they had to enter a cavein a mountain. A big rock rolled over and blocked the mouth of the cave. They said to each other, 'Invoke Allah with the best deed you have performed (so Allah might remove the rock)'. One of them said, 'O Allah! My parents were old and I used to go out for grazing (my animals). On my return I would milk (the animals) and take the milk in a vessel to my parents to drink. After they had drunk from it, I would give it to my children, family and wife. One day I was delayed and on my return I found my parents sleeping, and I disliked to wake them up. The children were crying at my feet (because of hunger). That state of affairs continued till it was dawn. O Allah! If You regard that I did it for Your sake, then please remove this rock so that we may see the sky.' So, the rock was moved a bit. The second said...

Moment Like This* [[--- Fifth Outing ---]]

*Moment Like This* [[--- Fifth Outing ---]] ----------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم I just remembered a story of Hafsah. Yes. Hafsah (r.a.) was the daughter of Umar ibn al-Khattab (ra). Became widow after the death of her husband. Her father (Umar ibn al-Khattab) felt sad when Abubakr and Uthman (r.a) turned down his request to marry Hafsah.. Umar ibn al-Khattab rushed down to report them to the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The Prophet smiled😊, and said, *"Hafsah will marry one better than Abubakr and Uthman"* My People! Every challenges of life can be a very hard nuts to crack and serve as disappointments, but in Islam, every disappointments is truly a blessing in disguise. Servants of Allah! You lost your spouse either through divorce or death, you lost your relationship which you think will result to marriage, you lost your job or something so dearest to you, etc etc.... All these happened for good reasons and will always be a blessing in disguise, BU...

THE BLAST OF THE TRUMPET, THE JUDGEMENT, AND THE RECOMPENSE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 12th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Tuesday, 15th October 2024). *_THE BLAST OF THE TRUMPET, THE JUDGEMENT, AND THE RECOMPENSE_*. BismilLah.  From the tafseer of Qu’ran 39:70 going, ALLAH tells us about the terrors of the Day of Judgement, with its mighty signs and terrifying upheaval. (And the Trumpet will be blown and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away, except him whom ALLAH wills.) This will be the second trumpet-blast, which will cause people to die. By this trumpet-blast, everyone who is alive in the heavens and on earth will be caused to die, except for him whom ALLAH wills. Then the souls of the remaining creatures will be taken, until the last one to die will be the Angel of Death, and there will be left only the Ever Living, Eternal One, Who was there in the beginning and will be at the end, ...

The hadith to reflect

The hadith to reflect  Narrated Sa`d bin Sahl As-Sa`idi: The Prophet (ﷺ) looked at a man fighting against the pagans and he was one of the most competent persons fighting on behalf of the Muslims. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Let him who wants to look at a man from the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire, look at this (man)." Another man followed him and kept on following him till he (the fighter) was injured and, seeking to die quickly, he placed the blade tip of his sword between his breasts and leaned over ittill it passed through his shoulders (i.e., committed suicide)." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "A person may do deeds that seem to the people as the deeds of the people of Paradise while in fact, he is from the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire: and similarly a person may do deeds that seem to the people as the deeds of the people of the (Hell) Fire while in fact, he is from the dwellers of Paradise. Verily, the (results of) deeds done, depend upon the last actions." Sahih al-Buk...

ALLAH ALONE DESERVES OUR WORSHIP BECAUSE HE ALONE CREATED US

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 11th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Monday, 14th October 2024). *_ALLAH ALONE DESERVES OUR WORSHIP BECAUSE HE ALONE CREATED US_*. BismilLah. Did I not command you, O Children of Aadam, that you should not worship Shaytan, Verily, he is a plain enemy to you. (This is a rebuke from ALLAH to the disbelievers among the sons of Aadam, those who are disobeying ALLAH and worshipping HIS creation and Messengers such as the worshipers of Jesus Christ alaihi salaam). ALLAH added by saying; And that you should worship ME. That is the straight path. meaning, `I commanded you in the world to disobey the Shaytan, and I commanded you to worship ME, and this is the straight path, but you followed a different path and you followed the commands of th...

Moment Like This* [[--Fourth Outing--]]

*Moment Like This* [[--Fourth Outing--]] ----------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Dr. Mahmud Es'ad says, "Sickness wakes people up from heedlessness, guides them to give up their sins, makes them think about the Hereafter, leads them to pious foundations; makes them more thankful to Allah, and teaches them the necessity of taking better care of their health and making better use of their life - something they didn't realise before - teaches them to understand other sick and pained people better, to feel sorry for them and to help them; and raises their ranks and degrees higher in the Hereafter." My people! Allah (swt) promised His servants that if they connect to Him during times of ease, He shall connect to them in times of hardship. The prophet (PBUH) said: “Seek to connect with Allah in times of ease; He will look unto you in times of hardship.” 📚 Hadith From that understanding, Muslims try to think positively about illness and sickness as it draws th...

Moment Like This* [[--- Third Outing ---]]

*Moment Like This* [[--- Third Outing ---]] ----------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Poverty is one of the calamities that Allah has decreed should happen, either to a specific person or a family or a society. Poverty has negative effects on people’s beliefs and conduct. Many Christian missionaries exploit the poverty and want of some peoples to spread Christianity among their ranks. Similarly, immoral behaviour becomes widespread to a large extent because of poverty, as a means of meeting people’s needs, so theft, murder, zina and sale of haram things become widespread. Undoubtedly these things have a negative effect on individuals and societies. Allah tells us that some of the mushrikin used to kill their children, the apples of their eyes, either because of the poverty in which they were living or for fear of poverty that might befall them. Allah says: “…kill not your children because of poverty — We provide sustenance for you and for them” 📚[Al-An'am 6:151] In al-...

The importance of getting the first row of solaah(prayer).

The importance of getting the first row of solaah(prayer). Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If the people knew the reward for pronouncing the Adhan and for standing in the first row (in congregational prayers) and found no other way toget that except by drawing lots they would draw lots, and if they knew the reward of the Zuhr prayer (in the early moments of its stated time) they would race for it (go early) and if they knew the reward of `Isha' and Fajr (morning) prayers in congregation, they would come to offer them even if they had to crawl." Sahih al-Bukhari 615. Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Martyrs are those who die because of drowning, plague, an Abdominal disease, or of being buried alive by a falling building." And then he added, "If the people knew the Reward for the Zuhr prayer in its early time, they would race for it. If they knew the reward for the `Isha' and the Fajr prayers in congregation, they woul...
