 Types of martyrs in islam

Alhamdulillah, الشهداء the martyrdom are those who die in the path of Allah s.w.t to raise the religion of islam and Sunnah of rasulullah against the kuffars and misguided peoples.

Allah s.w.t ranked such people are the best in degree among mankind sacrificing the life of this world for the hereafter.

Allah says,

Aal-e-Imran 3:163

هُمْ دَرَجَٰتٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ

They are [varying] degrees in the sight of Allāh, and Allāh is Seeing of whatever they do.

So our good deeds are never the same as those who struggle and have hardship in life yet believers and remain steadfast have higher degree in the sight of Allah than those who remain behind and tasted the sweetness of this world.

Allah says,

An-Nisa' 4:95

Not equal are those believers remaining [at home] - other than the disabled - and the mujāhideen, [who strive and fight] in the cause of Allāh with their wealth and their lives. Allāh has preferred the mujāhideen through their wealth and their lives over those who remain [behind], by degrees. And to all [i.e., both] Allāh has promised the best [reward]. But Allāh has preferred the mujāhideen over those who remain [behind] with a great reward -

An-Nisa' 4:96

دَرَجَٰتٍ مِّنْهُ وَمَغْفِرَةً وَرَحْمَةًۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا

Degrees [of high position] from Him and forgiveness and mercy. And Allāh is ever Forgiving and Merciful.

There are seven types of shuhada'u in islam

Among them from the Hadith is someone who is defending his homeland or families against oppressors.

The woman who dies in labour about to deliver a child.

The one who is drowned, the one burnt by fire, the one who is eaten by animal, the one who building fell upon him, the one who dies of stomach ache or diseases.

All these is about the believers who remain patient and steadfast until death comes to them in that situation.

Jabir b. ‘Atik reported God’s messenger as saying, “There are seven types of martyrdom apart from being killed inGod’s path. Those who die of plague, those who are drowned, those who die of pleurisy, those who die of an internal complaint, those who are burnt to death, those who are killed by a building falling on them, and women who die while pregnant are martyrs.” Malik, Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it.

Mishkat al-Masabih 1561.

We pray and all brothers and sisters suffering hardship, injustice and killed mercilessly, may Allah grant them jannah which is better than this world and grants us patient in these times of tribulations among the ummah. Aamin

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
