*Who's Ur Mentor?*
------------------بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم
Your words say, "Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is my teacher, my guide and my mentor."
Your life must prove it. Yes. Action speak louder than words. Louder than any post, any speech, any label.
If we truly mean he is our mentor, we will do what he did. We will not make excuses. Our lives will look like his life in the things that mattered most.
Consistently waking up for Tahajjud is one the things that matters most in the life of every SINCERE believer because: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The best prayer after the obligatory (fard) prayers is prayer at night" 📚Authentic hadith
So,
Saying you follow him while you sleep throughout the night… your actions are speaking that you are telling lie.
Allah (swt) gave Prophet Muhammad a direct order:
قُمِ ٱلَّيۡلَ إِلَّا قَلِيلࣰا
"Pass the night standing up in Prayer and spend only a little of it in sleep." 📚Al-Muzzammil 73:2
Since your mentor - Prophet Muhammad pbuh) received the above command, He never missed Tahajjud.
Now,
If he is truly your mentor, you must walk his path. Yes. I know we can not stand longer in prayer like he does, but at least we can spend a little part of the night in worship (15 to 20 minutes) every blessed night. This is the only way our action will speak louder than our words.
My People,
Every night you choose prayer over sleep, you step into prophet Muhammad's footsteps. Yes. This is not about being perfect. It is about letting your actions speak louder than your words.
Sure!
Sleep is important. We need it to recharge. But to sleep the whole night like a day-old baby—without waking for Tahajjud—is as good as saying you have wasted that very night.
Wake up for Tahajjud constantly because Angels carry the attendance register every night. Never miss even for one night.
Just take it the way you can maintain for a long time without missing. At least, 2 raka'ats every blessed night. Just make it consistent. In less than 20 minutes or so, you are done.
Let assume you wake up by 2AM, use 3minutes to perform ablution, 2minutes to get dressed, 5minutes to establish ONLY 2rakaat nawafil, 5minutes to make Du'a to Allah. Total time spent = 15minutes. *Everything In 15minutes,* then, go back to catch up with sleep.
*Tahajjud Time Ends When?*
It depends on ur location. Tahajjud time begins anytime you wake up from sleep (after ishai prayer) & end 20minutes b4 fajr time set in.
