بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم
Brothers and sisters. Ramadan is coming. Yes. May Allah (swt) chose you to see another Ramadan🙏. This is a huge gift.
But this year, will it be just another month? Or will it change your life forever?
Think about this:
Only Allah knows how many Muslims will break their fast with an empty stomach this year. While we sit with our families and enjoy, a brother or sister will have nothing. This thought should break our hearts.
Many of us just JUMP into Ramadan. We are not ready. And because we are not ready, we JUMP out of Ramadan the same way—empty. We get tired, we get hungry, but our hearts don’t change. We gain nothing.
This must stop. This year should be different.
My People,
The secret is not inside Ramadan. The secret is before Ramadan. Yes. And the best way to get ready is to open your hands. Give. Give from what you love. Give before Ramadan even starts.
Why?
Did you remember the story of Abu Nasr, the poor fisherman?. He had nothing. Just one piece of food for his starving child. But when he saw a mother and child crying from hunger, he gave them his everything. He went home with empty hands and a heart full of fear. But Allah (swt) saw him. Before he reached his door, Allah (swt) replaced what he gave—not just a little, but with 30,000 pieces of silver!
Allah (swt) never forgets a act of kindness. Yes. Your own payback for your frequent sadaqah may not be more money but prevention of calamities, sickness, extraordinary protection from Allah against all manner of evils and evil creatures or even Jannah.
My People,
You don’t need to be a millionaire. You just need a willing heart. Give a little money. Pay for a plate of food. Just help someone wipe off the rear on their faces. This is how you prepare for this year Ramadan.
Yes!
When you start giving now, something amazing happens inside you. Your heart becomes soft. It becomes clean. It gets ready to receive the light of this year Ramadan.
So when the moon is sighted, you won't just be starting a fast. You will be welcoming a dear guest with a heart that is already open, already warm, already connected to Allah (swt) and His people.
My People,
This Ramadan, don’t just be a person who doesn’t eat or drink. Be a person whose hunger makes you feel the hunger of others. Be a person whose thirst reminds you of the thirst of the needy.
Allah (swt) is Al-Kareem (The Most Generous). When you are generous for His sake, He will be Generous to you in ways you cannot imagine—in peace, in blessings, and in the sweetness of faith.
Prepare your heart now. So that when Ramadan comes, you will fly in worship, not just walk. You will leave Ramadan a new person, forgiven, and shining with light.
Let this be the Ramadan that changes everything about you.
Start preparing for it today by giving for the sake of Allah (swt).
To be continued...
