FAJR REMINDER: BE HAPPY WITH YOURSELF!

Why strive to change your skin color or see white as superior? Why aren't you content with your beautiful darker complexion? Do you believe lighter skin will earn more affection or enhance your beauty for another's approval?
Regardless of being black or white, we are all human! The best among us is the one who fears Allāh the most. Allāh says: “O Mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with Allāh is that (believer) who has At-Taqwā [i.e., one of the Muttaqūn (pious - see V. 2:2)]. Verily, Allāh is All-Knowing, All-Aware.” [Sūrah Al-Ḥujrāt (49): 13]
Are you suggesting that Allāh erred in creating your features as they are? May Allāh save us from blasphemy. So why consider altering your nose? Many have lost their lives attempting to modify their bodies. Such is the outcome of trying to change Allāh's Creation. Chemical bleaching can lead to severe skin and health issues like skin thinning, blotchy spots, uneven color loss, redness, irritation, skin cancer, acne, and more.
Why not simply appreciate what you have? Being black doesn't make you inferior! Once more, the best person before Allāh is the one with piety. The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) stated: “O people! Your God is One and your forefather (Ādam) is one. An Arab is not better than a non-Arab, and a non-Arab is not better than an Arab, and a red (i.e., white tinged with red) person is not better than a black person and a black person is not better than a red person, except in piety. Have I not delivered the message?” They said, “The Messenger of Allāh has delivered the message.” [Musnad Aḥmad 23489]
Allāh knows best why He gave you your unique form, appearance, and color. Embrace yourself and avoid self-destruction.
I beseech Allāh to grant us contentment. Aameen.
