 *Pick Your Calls*

[[--Episode 2--]]

بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم

My dear brother, my dear sister. Stop. Think for one moment.

You are not just a body. You are a soul. A precious, eternal soul, living inside a body. You are the caretaker of two things: your physical self, and your spiritual self.

A warning has come to us. The Prophet (pbuh) ascended the pulpit and he said, “Amin, amin, amin.” It was said, “O Messenger of Allah, you ascended the pulpit and said amin, amin, amin.” The Prophet said, *“Verily, Gabriel came to me and he said: Whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and he or she did not do acts of worship to gain Allah's forgiveness, then he or she will enter Hellfire and Allah will cast him or her far away, so say amin. I said amin....."* 📚Source: S‌ah‌i‌h‌ Ibn H‌ibba‌n 915

This is serious.

This is about your soul's safety.

Now, ask yourself: How do I prepare for this life-saving month?

Most of us only prepare the BODY. We think about the food, the sleep schedule, the thirst. Yes, the body will struggle. It will be hungry. It will be tired from Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayer.

But what about the SOUL? Your soul is the real you. And it is hungry too😃. Yes. It is thirsty for good deeds, for sadaqah, for Quran, for forgiveness, for a stronger connection with Allah (swt).

My People,

The Companions of the Prophet knew this. They prepared their bodies AND their souls for six months before Ramadan! They trained their whole being for this special guest - month of Ramadan.

So what must we do?

(1) Feed Your Soul Today: Don't wait. Your soul is starving. Give it a minimum of minutes of Quran everyday before the commencement of this year Ramadan. Just ten minutes. Listen to it. Read some verse and think about it. This is soul food.

(2) Train Your Body for Worship:

Is your prayer weak? Is Tahajjud prayer a stranger to you? Set your alarm to use at least 20 minutes for Tahajjud every blessed night. Yes. Tell your body: "We are changing. We are preparing for the greatest month."

(3) Clean Your Heart Now:

Ramadan is for forgiveness. Start cleaning your heart now. Call that person you argued with. Forgive that one who hurt you. Throw away the pride, the anger, the jealousy. A clean heart is a container for Ramadan's light. A dirty heart cannot hold it.

(4) See the Goal:

The goal is not just to be hungry. The goal is Taqwa. To be so close to Allah (swt) that you feel Him watching you. Yes. That you stop lying, stop gossiping, stop wasting time on haram activities, because you feel His presence. That is the success. That is what saves your soul.

You can make this year Ramadan your greatest victory. Or it can be a missed chance - God forbid. Yes. A warning was given already by the Prophet (peace be upon him)  where he said "Amin 3X" cursing anyone who did not do Ibadah that Allah (swt) will forgive him or her in the month of Ramadan.

Now,

Will you prepare your WHOLE self—body and soul—starting this very moment?

The choice is yours. But know this: Your soul is waiting. Ramadan is coming. And Allah (swt) is offering you a chance to come back to Him, completely.

Grab it. Start preparing for it. Now.

To be continued...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
