BismilLah.  Organising a get together within the family or community to welcome and celebrate a successful return from Hajj is not a religious innovations.  These actions do not necessarily imply showing off.  There is nothing wrong with those who come to congratulate the pilgrim on his safe return using whatever expressions they want, so long as they are permissible according to sharee’ah and indicate what is meant, such as saying “May ALLAH accept your worship” or “May ALLAH accept your Hajj”. *_May ALLAH accept the Hajj of all the hujjaaj and aid us to be among those who participate next year_*.  Jamarat and the stoning of the devil.  Alhamdulillah, one of the act of the hujjaj they used to perform is stoning of the devil(jamarat). As reported in hadith,  Narrated Al-A`mash: I heard Al-Hajjaj saying on the pulpit, "The Sura in which Al-Baqara (the cow) is mentioned and the Sura in which the family of `Imran is mentioned and the Sura in which the women (An-Nisa) is mentioned." I mentioned this to Ibrahim, and he said, `Abdur-Rahman bin Yazid told me, 'I was with Ibn Mas`ud, when he did the Rami of the Jamrat-ul-Aqaba. He went down the middle of the valley, and when he came near the tree (which was near the Jamra) he stood opposite to it and threw seven small pebbles and said: 'Allahu-Akbar' on throwing every pebble.'  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Ahad. 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah, 1445AH (Sunday, 16th June 2024). *_SUNNAH WAY OF EIDUL ADHAR_*. EID MUBARAK TO YOU ALL. BismilLah.  The Prophet (Sallallaahu ‘Alayhi wa sallam) delivering a khutbah saying: “The first thing to be done on this day (first day of Eid-ul-Adha) is to pray; and after returning from the prayer we slaughter our sacrifices (in the name of ALLAH), and whoever does so, he has acted according to our sunnah.  (Kitaabul-‘Eidayn, Bukhari).    Eid-ul-Adhar is celebrated from the 10th through 13th day of Dhul Hijjah, the 13th month of the lunar calendar. Meaning the sacrifice can be done on any of the 4 days but preferably on the 1st eid day which is today 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah.  On the way to the Eid prayer, while waiting for it and on the way back from the prayer one should recite the following takbeer as much as possible:  Allaahu akbar - Allaahu akbar – Laa ilaaha illallaahu – wal-laahu akbar Allaahu...

 Sharing the sacrificial animal is a form of worship.  Alhamdulillah, As we know, making sacrifice for the budn(animal) and sharing it to the beggar and needy is what is best.  Allah says,  Al-Hajj 22:36 And the camels and cattle We have appointed for you as among the symbols [i.e., rites] of Allāh; for you therein is good. So mention the name of Allāh upon them when lined up [for sacrifice]; and when they are [lifeless] on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy [who does not seek aid] and the beggar. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may be grateful.  Permissibility to play on the day of eid  The day of eid is a day of joy and one is permissible to feel joy on this day as reported in hadith,  It was narrated from 'Urwah that he narrated from Aishah that Abu Bakr As-Siddiq :: Entered upon her and there were two girls with her beating the duff and singing, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was covered with his garment. You can also make a lot of Du'a in Arabic and or in any language. Yes. Make the list of all your heart desires and pour them REPEATEDLY over and over and over.
