*Days Righteous Deeds are More Beloved to Allah*
[[-- Episode Three --]]--------------------------------
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the next 3-4days (depending on your country or location), we will enter the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, days which good deeds are more Beloved to Allah (swt). Therefore, as Muslims, we should welcome the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah with the same enthusiasm as we do the last ten days of Ramadan. This golden opportunity should be utilized to grab uncountable rewards by increasing our prayers, supplications, fasts, charity, and remembrance of Allah (swt)
Conversely,
Doing wrong in this month, especially to people, increases the degree of sin more than the same act in other months.
The first 10days of Dhul-Hijjah will come and go as do the days of life. So we should utilise them in the highest and best possible way.
Muslim Faithful!
Here are the continuation of some of the established practices of these blessed days for us to incorporate into our worship, and lessons we can take from these days:
*Established Practices Number 3:* Fast on the Day of ’Arafah
If you are unable to fast for the whole ten days, try to fast on just the Day of ’Arafah, the 9th of Dhul Hijjah. Just as Laylatul Qadr is the most blessed night of the year, ‘Arafah is the most blessed day of the year.
Like Laylatul Qadr, we should spend this day seeking forgiveness and availing ourselves of Allah’s incredible mercy. On this day, non-pilgrims have the opportunity to extinguish the sins of two years by fasting! The Prophet (PBUH) said, ′It (fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah) expiates the sins of the past year and the coming year’. 📚(Muslim)
My people!
Fasting the Day of Arafah — the ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah — is not obligatory but very important. It is called this because on that day, the pilgrims making Hajj gather on the plateau of Arafat outside of Makkah and supplicate Allah from morning till late afternoon.
So,
Every Muslim capable of fasting that day should, to reap its great benefit. Because, the Prophet (saw) said: *“Fasting on the Day of Arafah expiates the sins of two years, the past and the coming.”* 📚 [Muslim]
Also the Prophet (saw) also said:
*“There is no day on which Allah sets free more servants from the Fire than on the Day of Arafah. He (Allah) draws near. Then He praises them to the angels, saying: ‘What do these people want?’” — meaning He shall answer their pleas, and deliver them from Hell and admit them to His Garden.”*
*Established Practices Number 4:* The Sacrifice of Eid (Udhiyyah/Layyah)
Dhul-Hijjah is the month of Eid-ul-Adha, the Festival of the Ritual Sacrifice, which lasts four days. The 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah is the first day of Eid. It is also known as the Day of Slaughter (Yawm al-Nahr), for on it the sacrifice of animals begins and........
