بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

*Kindness to parents:*

My brother My sister! - You buy both desirable & undesirable materials for your children, wife or husband every festive period. When last did you do same to your parents? Be sincere!

Parents are held in very high esteem in religion of Islam, especially the mothers. Yes. I remembered a hadith, *“Your paradise lies under the feet of your mother,”* 📚 Authentic

*Learn from the story below:*

Uwais Qarni from Yemen was the one prophet Muhammad (saw) told a story about taking care of his mother to a group of his companions.

Prophet Muhammad told his companions that there is man who will come to you from Yemen. He comes from Murad and the tribe of Qaran. The Prophet went on to tell them about the leprosy and finished the description of Uwais saying, *"and he has a mother, he treats her extremely well, and is obedient to her."*  He then said, if Uwais al-Qarni takes an oath by Allah, Allah will surely honor that oath. If you meet him, ask him to seek forgiveness for you.

Umar ibn al-Khattab never forgot this advice, and when he became the leader of the Muslims, every year he would go out to meet those coming from Yemen for the pilgrimage. Umar would ask, "Is Uwais al-Qarni among you?" This continued for ten years. Finally, the people from Yemen said yes and pointed him out to Umar.

Umar went straight to Uwais to determine if he was the man Prophet Muhammad described. He asked, "Are you Uwais al-Qarni?"

He said, "Yes."

Umar continued, "From Murad and the tribe of Qaran?"

He said, "Yes."

Umar then asked, "Were you once afflicted with leprosy and your skin healed except for an area on your shoulder the size of a coin?"

Uwais said, "Yes."

Umar finally asked, "Do you have a mother that you respect, honor, and take care of?"

He said, "Yes."

Umar then explained that Prophet Muhammad advised him to ask Uwais to seek forgiveness from Allah for him (Umar). Uwais was taken aback; he pointed out to Umar that he was a companion of the Prophet and the leader of the Muslims. You should ask Allah to forgive me, Uwais insisted. However, Umar was not deterred, and Uwais supplicated that Allah forgive the sins of Umar ibn al-Khattab.

My people!

If you check out the entire verses of the glorious Quran and Hadith of the beloved Prophet (PBUH), you will NEVER FIND A STATEMENT which says - *"Oh you who believe!, Do not give out anything from the money in your pockets or Bank account as sadaqah UNLESS you have solved ALL your family and personal financial problems*😃. By implication, the only people who are exempted from giving are those who have nothing in their pockets or Bank account to give.

Muslim Faithful!

Allah (swt) is watching anybody who is tested with abject poverty and how they bear it with patient. The same way it's a test from Allah (swt) to be blessed with something big or little in our pocket or Bank account and wether we can share it with those who have not.

In fact,

History have revealed that the Prophet's companions don't wait until they have no single family and personal financial problems before they give out sadaqah. This is why,

Abu Huraira reported: A man came to the Prophet (PBUH) and he said, “O Messenger of Allah, which charity has the greatest reward?” The Prophet said, “That you give charity while you are healthy, greedy, fearing poverty, and hoping to be rich. Do not delay giving...” 📚Source: S‌ah‌i‌h‌ al-Bukha‌ri‌ 1419, S‌ah‌i‌h‌ Muslim 1032

Also,

It's true that, there is unprecedented hunger, poverty, and suffering among the Muslims today, especially the orphans, widows and less privileged. Allah (swt) says:

"...وَأَحْسِن كَمَآ أَحْسَنَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيْكَۖ ..."

"And do good to others as Allah has done good to you" 📚Al-Qasas 28:77

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
