بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Hadeeth  narrated from Abu Hurayrah (RA) that the Prophet (PBUH) said: *“Whoever has two wives and favours one of them over the other, will come on the Day of Resurrection with one of his sides leaning (ie- Paralysed).”* 📚 Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (1141), Abu Dawood (2133), al-Nasaa’i (3942) and Ibn Majaah (1969).

And,

We all know that, people ressurrected with physical challenges can not enter paradise.

So,

The one who have OR wants to take two or three or four wives may do so, but if he is confident that he will not be unfair and unjust, and that he will be able to give them their rights. Therefore, any man who wishes to take a second wife has to meet the important condition of fair treatment of all his wives with regards to social, economical and physical needs.

Now,

Continuation of the previous episodes;

*Fairness in spending as regards to Feeding & Clothing:*

Due to individual differences as a factor,, it is not a must to feed ur wives with the same food. Some prefer Indomie to Spaghetti. Yes. Some people don't eat meat BUT fish. etc etc etc.. So, there is NO SIN if u give any of ur wives what each and everyone of them prefer to eat (provided the cost of the foods given to one of the wives did not express injustice).. For instance, giving one of the wives rice without meat or fish, and the other wife get rice with meat and or fish. This is INJUSTICE.

Also,

Giving the first wife with 6 children one bag of rice and second wife with 2 children half bag of rice is not injustice.

Furthermore,

Any of ur wives can eat and drink anything they like at anytime extrally provided the source is not from you. Yes. This could could be due to the fact that, they are working class or they have parents or relatives who give them gifts time-to-time.

DRESSES:

Bcos you want to be just, your wives must not appear like school children when they dress😃. I mean ALL wives appearing in green color LES for instance. Yes. Try to understand or find out from them, the color each and every one of them like.. Some may prefer pink colour.. Some may always go for red color materials. BUT the dresses must be of the same or almost the same quality or standard or price.. And it is NOT injustice if you give to the 1st wife who is slim 4 yards of clothes and 2nd wife 6 yards because she is very fat.

But,

Where u buy N2,000 LES material for your 1st wife and N10,000 LES material for your 2nd wife, is a SIN and injustice.

Also,

No matter how expensive any dress may be, any of your wives can wear it, provided the source is not from you.

👉 Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (RA) said:

With regard to fairness in spending and clothing, this is also Sunnah, following the example of the Prophet (PBUH), "He used to spend equally on his wives, and also used to divide his time equally among them". 📚Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 32/269.

*Fairness as regards staying the night & spending time with wives:*

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
