*Days Righteous Deeds are More Beloved to Allah*
[[-- Episode One --]]--------------------------------
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In Sha Allah, in the next 5-6days to come, we are going to embark on one of those golden opportunities, which is the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. The superiority of the first ten days of Dhul-Hajjah has been mentioned in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Servants of Allah!
Each day that Allah (swt) gives us is an opportunity for us to grow closer to Him. It’s a chance to be grateful for what we have, and to implement more good deeds, and increase in our levels of faith.
Throughout the year, Allah (swt) provides us with golden opportunities to renew our faith and encourage acts of goodness by specifying special days with special rewards, like the the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. These days of Dhul-Hijjah make a way for those who feel they did not perform to the optimum level they had hoped for in Ramadan to make up for any shortcomings.
Conversely,
Doing wrong in this month, especially to people, increases the degree of sin more than the same act in other months.. Therefore, the first 10days of Dhul-Hijjah will come and go as do the days of life. So we should utilise them in the highest and best possible way.
Servants of Allah!
Here are some of the established practices of these blessed days for us to incorporate into our worship, and lessons we can take from these days:
*Number 1:* Pray at night - and fast during the day
It’s been two months since the last ten nights of Ramadan, and many of us have missed the ‘spiritual high’ of seeking out Laylat al-Qadr through our nightly worship. Yes But did you know that praying at night for the first ten nights of Dhul Hijjah is somehow equivalent to praying on Laylat al-Qadr?. Yes. It's true
Evidence:
The Prophet (PBUH) said, *‘There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than in these (ten) days’.* 📚[Abu Dawud]
My people!
The above hadith shows that Allah loves to be worshipped on these ten days, and one of the best ways to ensure you maximise your worship is by praying Tahajjud at night and fasting during the day. Yes. Even though you can not fast all these days, at least, fast 2 or 3 days.
When you sacrifice food and drink during the day and you didn't squander all the hours of the night sleeping for Allah’s sake, you are truly reaping the benefits of these blessed days.
Regarding Tahajjud,
Some people go to bed with the intention to wake up for Tahajjud by setting their phone alarm but before they realize it, it's fajr prayer time.
Sometimes the phone alarm you set will not even ring at all to wake you up. Sometimes, the phone alarm will ring but you will be the one to use your own hands to reject the alarm *(as your enemies will be massaging you, blowing you with deceptive air conditioner or even making you to have fake sweet dreams)* so that you don't remember anything like Tahajjud until when it's fajr prayer time😃.
*You can try this👇🏻:*
Set your phone alarm three times (3X). For instance: if you want to establish Tahajjud by 3:00AM, set three alarms,
▪️Set the alarm 2:00AM
▪️Set another alarm 2:30AM
▪️Then set another alarm 3:00AM
Now,
The first alarm will ring by 2:00AM. If you like, you can wake up, do your transactions with Allah (swt) - i mean Tahajjud, then, go back to catch up with your sleep.
If you don't want to wake up when the first and second alarm ring (2:00AM & 2:30AM), you can reject it, continue with your sleep. But at least, it's a notice to you that "very soon, you will need to wake up for Tahajjud"
Sometimes you will reject the alarm without knowing if it's only one alarm you set. But if you set 3 different times, it will help you not to miss out completely in the goodies Angeles are sharing to people who wake up for Tahajjud everyday.
