My Intentions are 2

 *My Intentions are 2*

--------------------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, *"Let the slave of money, fine and luxurious clothes perish for he is pleased if these things are given to him, and if not, he is displeased!"* 📚Source: S‌ah‌i‌h‌ al-Bukha‌ri‌ 6071

Now,

The desire for happiness, wealth and luxurious lifestyle in this world is a natural desire, but happiness in the Qur’an refers to happiness in this world and the hereafter.

My people!

This world is called al-dunya, literally; *‘the lower world.’*  The concept of al-dunya presupposes the concept of al-akhirah (the hereafter) and stands in contrast to it. Yes . The Qur’an frequently uses these two words:

*“You desire the ephemeral goods of this world (al-dunya), while Allah desires [for you] the Hereafter (al-akhirah)”* 📚(Qur’an 8:67)

The above states that the afterlife is better and more enduring. It teaches that this life is transient and that the real life is the one to come. Yes bcos, life in this world is a gift from Allah to be used properly, following His commandments

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ

"And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me". 📚Surah Adh - Dhariyat (51:56)

Infact,

This world is like a farm, where one should sow the seeds of good deeds to reap a harvest in the hereafter.

*Why am I saying all you have read so far?*

My intentions are two:

*First:* To remind us that we should not use 6AM to 6PM everyday in pursuit of wealth in different currencies without budgeting atleast 10-15minutes to establish Tahajjud in the night, bcos, worldly wealth is something BUT not everything

*Second:* To remind Myself and You to always - *"go to bed with the intention of waking up for Tahajjud"* - so that if we are amongst those whose souls will be returned back to our bodies after brief sleep, then, ALHAMDULILLAH and if Allah (swt) decree otherwise, then, ALHAMDULILLAH bcos, atleast we are very sure of meeting our full benefits & rewards given to people of Tahajjud. We have seen or heard of instances where people go to sleep and Zoomed into the next world.

Muslim Faithful!

It is established that the success of every believer lies in his or her obligatory prayers. If it is complete, he or she is successfully saved. And our nawafil prayers are used to fill in the missing gaps created in our obligatory prayers📚(Tirmizi)

Also,

The Prophet (PBUH) said:👉 *“The best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer.”* 📚(Muslim)

The Prophet (PBUH) said: *“O `Abdullah, do not be like so and so! He used to pray at night and then he stopped doing that”*📚Al-Bukhari and Muslim

Therefore,

If u have not yet set ur phone alarm in a repeating mode, to wake u up for midnight nawafil (at least 2 rakaats) everyday till the end of ur life, pls do so immediately. Yes. Allah (swt) loves consistency in any act of worship. And waking up everyday for Tahajjud is not something difficult.. Let assume you wake up by 2AM, use 3minutes to perform ablution, 2minutes to get dressed, 5minutes to establish ONLY 2rakaat nawafil, 5minutes to make Du'a to Allah.. Total time spent = 15minutes. *Everything In 15minutes,* then, go back to catch up with sleep.

Allah alone knows best

سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك نشهد ان لا اله الا انت نستغفرك ونتوابوااليك

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
