When this reality settles in the heart, anxiety begins to fade, complaints become fewer, and reliance upon Allāh grows stronger. We must therefore know and believe with absolute certainty that Allāh wrote all matters fifty thousand years before the creation of the heavens and the earth. Sadly, there have always been people who held such a misguided belief. This is not a minor error. Rather, it is a dangerous deviation because it denies one of the fundamental aspects of Qadar (predestination or preordainment) and undermines the Perfection of Allāh’s Names and Attributes. Dear brethren, our hearts find peace only when they are firmly anchored to the belief that our Lord's Knowledge is Absolute and Flawless. Nothing surprises Him. Nothing escapes Him. Nothing is hidden from Him—not what has already occurred, not what is happening now, and not what is yet to happen.  FAJR REMINDER: A JOURNEY OF EFFORT AND DIVINE HELP By: Umm Affān Muḥarram 19, 1448 (4-July-2026) This morning, let us reflect on yet another profound lesson from the Hijrah of our beloved Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) from Makkah to Madīnah.  One of the greatest lessons we learn is this: when you sincerely do your part for Allāh's Sake, He will never abandon you. We are commanded to make every lawful effort, place our trust in Him, and leave the outcome in His Hands. Whoever strives to support the Cause of Allāh and relies upon Him will find that Allāh's Help comes in ways beyond imagination. The Prophet (ﷺ) did not simply wait for miracles. He carefully planned the journey, took every practical means to protect himself and preserve Allāh's Religion, and then entrusted the result to his Lord. It is a question that deserves sincere contemplation—not to discourage or frighten women, but to remind us of a habit that can have enormous consequences in this life and the next: ingratitude. Gratitude is one of the finest qualities a believer can possess. It reflects humility, sincerity, and recognition of the blessings Allāh has placed in our lives. A grateful heart appreciates both the Giver of blessings and the means through which those blessings arrive. BismilLah.  Let's begin with our studies of this suurah. Please read the historical/ background and context from yesterday's reminder first. Verse 1. غټش وتوڏ "He frowned and turned away." Meaning: The Prophet sallallahu alaihi frowned and turned his attention elsewhere. Commentary: ALLAH Azzawajal begins with a gentle but powerful correction. The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam  did not speak harshly, nor did he insult the blind Companion. Yet ALLAH Azzawajal cared about the feelings and dignity of a believer seeking guidance. Verse 2. أن جاءۀ الأغفى "Because the blind man came to him." Meaning: The reason for the frown was the arrival of the blind Companion. By: Umm Affān Muḥarram 16, 1448 (1-July-2026) The more you learn about Islām from authentic sources, the more convinced you become that it is the true religion revealed by Allāh for all people until the end of time. Islām is a religion that is simple, rational, clear, and comprehensive. Its beauty has no limit because it originates from the Infinite One—our Creator and the Only True God worthy of worship. Among the greatest blessings Allāh has bestowed upon us is that He guided us to this perfect religion.  *_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaum Arba'a | 16th day of Muharram, 1448 AH | Wednesday, 1st July, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH ABASA, QUR'AN 80_*. BismilLah.  Suurah ‘Abasa was revealed in Makkah. The opening verses refer to an incident involving the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and a blind Companion, ‘Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum. One day, the Prophet ﷺ was speaking with some influential leaders of Quraysh, hoping that they might accept Islam and that their acceptance would strengthen the Muslim community. During this conversation, Ibn Ummĥĥɓ Maktum رضي الله عنه came seeking guidance and asking the Prophet ﷺ to teach him from what ALLAH had taught him. Because the Prophet ﷺ was focused on the leaders, he frowned slightly and turned away momentarily from the blind man.
