Prepare Yourself
------------------بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Imagine you are holding a gift of bank check (in your name) worth millions of dollars. But while walking, you drop it in a fire and watch it burn to ash. You would scream! You would cry!
Now, listen to this truth that will shake your heart:
That is exactly what happens to most of us every single Friday. Yes because anyone who comes to Jummah and listens carefully while imam is on the minbar, gets huge rewards, Allah's mercy and forgiveness. That is a massive treasure!
But,
Majority of Muslims today lose ALL of this treasure. They walk into the mosque hoping for rewards, mercy and forgiveness, but they walk out with empty hands. Why? Only because they did not know the simple things that destroy their reward.
Today,
While the imam is on the minbar saying the khutbah, look around us today. We talk and discuss worldly matters. We press our phones. We run from one website to another on the internet. We even answer phone calls! All of these actions nullify your Jummah reward completely. Gone. Zero.
It is not only talking. Playing with your fingers, clicking your joints, fiddling with your clothes, twisting a button, or jingling your car keys—all of it is prohibited during the khutbah.
In fact, it is so serious that even if your brother walks in late, you cannot even say "Salam" to him or answer his Salam at that moment.
Now, If greeting someone is forbidden, then what about a full chat or a phone call?
The Prophet (pbuh) said clearly: "If you tell someone to 'be quiet' while the imam is delivering sermon, you have wasted your Jummah." If just saying "shush" ruins it, then what do you think talking, texting, and scrolling phone does?
My People,
Every Friday is a special day for shopping for your Hearafter which begin immediately you are placed in your grave.
Actually,
Allah (swt) did not design it that HIS Angels from the sky would be descending to do the jobs of masjid maintenance meant for human beings.
Therefore, I use this medium to remind myself and you to always prepare to be dropping something (reasonable) EVERYDAY inside Fissabilillah box in any masjid where we pray REGULARLY especially every Fridays - for the running of the activities of the masjid & for the propagation of the religion of Allah in general.
Sure!
This worldly life is a test, hence the reason for so many trials and temptations. And this test include finding ourselves inside bad economy, to see those who will hide under the canopy of hash economy and COMPLETELY abandon act of charity.
