*Women-in Islam*🌸
In Islam, a woman is honored. Allah created men and women from one soul and made them equal in humanity and in reward. "Whoever does righteousness, male or female, while a believer We will give them a good life" An-Nahl 16:97. What matters to Allah is taqwa, not gender.
The Prophet ﷺ raised the status of women. He said: "The best of you are best to their women"and "Paradise is under the feet of mothers". He taught women, gave them rights to knowledge, wealth and inheritance. The Sahābiyāt like Khadijah and Aisha were businesswomen, scholars and teachers.
The Salaf guarded women with hijab and hayaa, not to oppress, but to protect their honor. For them a woman’s strength was her deen, her home, and raising generations.
So a woman in Islam is not weak. She is a servant of Allah with rights, knowledge and great reward. Her value is in iman, not in imitating men.
May Allah make us like the believing women of the Qur’an and Sunnah
