*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_*
Yaum al-ithnayn | 28th day of Muharram, 1448 AH | Monday, 13th July, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURATUL ABASA, QUR'AN CHAPTER 80 continues_*. BismilLah.
Let's continue with our studies of this beautiful suurah from verses 33 to the final verse 42 which speaks about The Scenes from the Day of Resurrection.
Surah 'Abasa concludes by transporting us from the blessings of this world to the overwhelming reality of the Day of Judgement. After reminding us of ALLAH’S favours and HIS provision, ALLAH Azzawajal now reminds us of the Day when every soul will stand before HIM.
Verse 33: "Then, when the Deafening Blast comes."
The "Ṣākhkhah" is one of the names of the Trumpet blast that will herald the Day of Resurrection. It is called the Deafening Blast because of its terrifying intensity, overwhelming every sound and capturing every person's attention. At that moment, the world as we know it will have ended, and every human being will be gathered before ALLAH Azzawajal for judgement.
Verses 34–37: The Day when family ties cannot help.
ALLAH Azzawajal describes the terror of that Day:
A man will flee from his brother.
From his mother and father.
From his wife.
From his own children.
These are the closest relationships in this world, yet on that Day everyone will be completely occupied with their own fate.
This does not mean that love disappears forever; rather, the fear and accountability before ALLAH Azzawajal will be so overwhelming that no one will be able to carry another person's burden.
ALLAH Azzawajal says elsewhere:
"No bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another." (Qur'an 6:164).
Each soul will answer only for its own deeds. Allahu Akbar. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH.
*_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.
