*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_*
Yaumul Jumuat | 3rd day of Swafar, 1448 AH | Friday, 17th July, 2026.
*_THE BLESSINGS OF A PEACEFUL DIVORCE IN ISLAM_*. BismilLah.
Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week.
Although marriage is one of the greatest blessings and acts of worship in Islam, there are situations where it becomes impossible for a husband and wife to live together in righteousness. In such cases, Islam permits divorce, not as a preferred option, but as a last resort, while commanding that it be carried out with justice, kindness, and dignity.
ALLAH Azzawajal does not only teach us how to marry; HE also teaches us how to separate in a way that earns HIS pleasure. Divorce Should Be Done with Kindness and Excellence.
ALLAH Azzawajal says:
"...Either retain them in a fair manner or release them with kindness (ihsān)."(Qur'an 2:229).
ALLAH Azzawajal also says:
"When you divorce women and they have fulfilled their waiting period, then either retain them according to acceptable terms or release them according to acceptable terms. Do not keep them intending harm..."
(Qur'an 2:231).
A Muslim should never use divorce as a means of revenge, humiliation, emotional abuse, or manipulation. Even when love ends, righteousness must remain. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.
