Yaumul Ahad | 12th day of Swafar, 1448 AH | Sunday, 26th July, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SŪRAH AN-NĀZIʿĀT (Qur'an 79) continues_*. BismilLah. 


Let's continue with our studies of suurah An-Naazi'aat from verses 6-14 which speaks about the certainty and terror of the day of Judgment and Resurrection. 


After ALLAH Azzawajal swears by HIS noble Angels in verses 1–5 to emphasize the certainty of the Resurrection, HE now describes some of the terrifying events of the Last Day and exposes the false claims of those who denied that they would ever be brought back to life. These verses vividly portray the overwhelming scenes of the Day of Judgment and affirm that resurrecting mankind is effortless for ALLAH Azzawajal.


Verse 6

يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ

"On the Day when the first blast will shake everything." 

The majority of the classical mufassirūn, including Sheikh Ibn Kathīr and Sheikh At-Ṭabarani may ALLAH Azzawajal be pleased with them, explain that "ar-Rājifah" refers to the first blowing of the Trumpet by the Angel Isrāfīl, which will cause the earth and mountains to shake violently and signal the destruction of the present world.


ALLAH Azzawajal says:

"And the Trumpet will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead, except whom ALLAH Azzawajal wills..." (Qur'an 39:68).

The stability people depend upon today will vanish in an instant. ALLAHU AKBAR. Did you hear what ALLAH Azzawajal says? Let it sink in....my brothers and sisters in Islam.
