*Thought For The Day*
👉 Ibrahim At-Taimi says:
In my heart, I imagined myself in Paradise eating from its fruits, drinking from its water and embracing its virgin women. I also imagined myself in hellfire, eating from its zaqqum, drinking from its puss, and being chained in its chains and fetters. So I asked myself, "What do you wish for?", it said 'I wanted to be returned to the life of the world so that I perform righteous deeds.' I said, 'you are still where you wish to be, so work'.

Allāhummah-rusī bi’aymikal-latī lā tanām(u), wak-nufnī bikanafikal-ladhī lā yurām(u), wagh-fir lī biqudratika’alayya fa lā ahlik(u), wa anta rajā’ī. Fa kam min ni’matin an’amta bihā ‘alayya qalla laka ‘indahā shukrī, wa kam mim baliyyatinib-talaytanī bihā qalla laka ‘indahā sabrī. Fa yā man qalla ‘inda ni’matihī shukrī fa lam yahrimni, wa yā man qalla ‘inda baliyyarihī sabrī shukri fa lam yahrimnī,wa yā man qalla ‘inda baliyyatihi sabrī fa lam yakhdhulnī, wa yā man ra’āni ‘alal-khaţāya fa lam yafdahni.
O Allah, watch over me with Your Eye that never sleeps, protect me with Your unassailable patronage, and forgive me by virtue of Your power over me so that I may not perish. You are my Hope. How many a bounty there is with which You have favoured me; yet little has been my gratitude for that. And how many a trial have You tested me with; yet little has been my patience with that. O the One for Whose bounties my gratitude has been little, yet He did not deprive me. O the One against Whose trial I showed little patience, yet He did not abandon me. O the One Who saw me committing mistakes yet He did not disgrace me.
