INSPIRATIONAL ADVICE: EACH PERSON IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS OWN DEEDS

*INSPIRATIONAL ADVICE: EACH PERSON IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS OWN DEEDS* Allah Ta'ala جل جلاله states in the Holy Qur'ān; يايها الذين آمنوا عليكم أنفسكم لايضركم من ضل إذا اهتديتم الى الله مرجعكم جميعا فينبئكم بما كنتم تعملون  'O you who believe! Guard your souls. He who has gone astray cannot harm you, if you are rightly guided. To Allah will you all return; and (then) He will inform you of what you used to do.' (Surah al-Mā'idah: 105) Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Taqi Uthmāni Sahib حفظه الله has said that this verse tells us clearly that we are all going to be accountable for our deeds. No one will be responsible for the deeds of another.  It is imperative we should take care and reform ourselves first. When we are going to be presented in the Court of Allah Ta'ala جل جلاله, we have to remind ourselves that we will have to account for our deeds. We should therefore be mindful of our actions before turning our attention to others. Every one of us must critically analyse o

INCULCATING THE FEAR OF ALLAH TA'ALA. PROMISE OF TWO GARDENS

*INCULCATING THE FEAR OF ALLAH TA'ALA. PROMISE OF TWO GARDENS* Allah Ta'ala جل جلاله states in the Holy Qur'ān:'And for him who fears standing before his Lord, there shall be two gardens.' (Surah ar-Rahmān: 46) Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Taqi Uthmāni Sahib حفظه الله has explained that if a person fears standing before Allah Ta'ala جل جلاله and having to give an account for each action; he will be blessed with two Jannah (paradise). In the commentary of this verse, Hazrat Mujāhid رحمه الله (a renowned Tābi'ee) has said that it refers to a person who is confronted with an evil thought and intends to commit a sin. At the same time the person reflects on Allah Ta'ala جل جلاله and reminds himself that he will have to one day present himself before Him. Upon contemplation, he abandons the idea to commit the sin. It is for such an individual that the assurance is given for two gardens in Jannah. A man is all alone and there is nobody watching him. There are no obst

Why You are not different from Shaitan

*Why You are not different from Shaitan.* ~~~~~ When it comes to iman in Allah, iman is the highest peak of devotion and love for Allah and what He sent. Majority of people believe in Allah, but only a few have what we refer to as Iman. Iblis or Shaitan is a believer, bcos he believes that Allah is his creator, and he knows that all the Prophets sent were sent by Allah. He also knows that Prophet Muhammad is the last and final messenger. If you read the Qur’an, in most places where Iblis is mentioned you would realise that Iblis calls Allah as Rabb or Allah. To show you that he believes in Allah. But what makes him an outcast is bcos he didn't have iman. Abu Talib the Uncle of Prophet Muhammad believed in Allah and the messenger, he im fact protected the messenger more than the sahaba. But he did not have iman. So what is iman? Iman is to believe in Allah, love him emotionally and follow every single command He instruct you to follow. Iman isn't just the Kalimatus Shahada. Tha

Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage Episode 220 NOT EVERYTHING IS WORTH TALKING ABOUT

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 220* *NOT EVERYTHING IS WORTH TALKING ABOUT* In my experience, I must say that talking about everything you see at home as a husband is quite problematic. Some men just can't keep quiet. They find everything worth speaking about. Complaining a lot leads to disrespect. And it is a sign of not being considerate. Only Almighty Allāh is perfect. And we are all not perfect in one aspect or another. When a wife has a lot of home chores to achieve, sometimes you overlook her weakness and failures, not because you should not correct her, but bcos it is not easy to run a house.  Sometimes when she is too occupied doing one thing or another, you can chip in as a husband to assist. Take, for instance, you saw some dirt on the floor, you dont need to always point at such things, simply, pick it up and throw it away. Some men might feel arrogant to do so, well, give a try and see the result. but when you have to pick it, Make sure she s

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN QUR'AN AND KITAAB? WE KNOW ALLAH USES BOTH IN HIS MASSAGE FOR MANKIND AND JINN KIND. HOW DO THEY RELATE?

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 12th day of Muharram (Monday 31st August 2020). *_WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN QUR'AN AND KITAAB? WE KNOW ALLAH USES BOTH IN HIS MASSAGE FOR MANKIND AND JINN KIND. HOW DO THEY RELATE?_*. BismilLah.  This is a bit long but very beneficial knowledge so don't miss reading it.  Understanding the Words Kitaab and Qur'an which are two popular names ALLAH (As-Sabur, The Patient, The Timeless) uses for HIS BOOK.  Kitaab comes from the Arabic word Kataba which means to write and at the time of the Prophet sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam or olden days they write on stones, woods, leafs etc, so they couldn't edit or change what they've written on these olden materials so ALLAH (Ar-Rashid, The Guide, Infallible Teacher and Knower) using the word Kitaab has a profound reality or uniqueness of the QURAN which means Quran is something written down and no room for editing. We can't edit or change anything in the Qur'an. Even tho

No fear shall be on you this Day, nor shall you grieve. (You) who believe in Our Aayat (proofs, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc..) and were Muslims (i.e., who submit totally to Allah's Will, and believe in the Oneness of Allah). Trays of gold and cups will be passed round them;  (there will be) therein all that inner-selves could desire, and all that eyes could delight in and you will abide therein forever. This is the Jannah which you have been made to inherit because of your deeds which you used to do (in the life of the world).  Therein for you will be fruits in plenty, of which you will eat (as you desire).". Gems and Jewels Truth and Lying

*Gems and Jewels* Truth and Lying Allah (the Exalted) says in the Noble Qur’an about the basic qualities of a believer: “O you who .-believe! Why do you say that which you do not do? Most hateful it is with Allah that you say that which you do not do.” (Qur'an 61:2,3) Allah’s Messenger was asked, “Can a believer be a miser? ’He said “Yes.” He was asked, “Can a believer be a coward?” He said, “Yes.” And he was asked, “And can a believer be a liar?” He said, “No.” It has been related that a man went to Allah’s Messenger, and said, “O Messenger Allah, indeed J do three sins in secret: (I drink) alcohol, fornication, and lying. So inform me which of them I should abandon.” He said, “Leave off lying.” The man went away, and later desired to fornicate, but he thought to himself, “I will go to the Messenger of Allah and he will ask me whether I fornicated? If I say yes, he will punish me. And if I say no, I will have broken the covenant and lied.” So he abstained from fornicating, and th

Fear and Love Written by Naadira Chhipa

*Fear and Love* Written by Naadira Chhipa  Muslims of the past generations may not have had so much of information or even easy access to knowledge of Islam but they never sugar coated Islam or tried to downplay the punishment of sins. Today we have so much of information that we could easily access, yet the fear of Allah is being extinguished from our hearts. Yes Allah is 'most merciful'  and our beloved Allah’s Messengerﷺ said, “When Allah completed the creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him on His Throne, “My Mercy overpowers My Anger.” (Bukhari) And in the above we should find refuge and hope in the mercy of Allah not take advantage of it by intentionally going against the commands of Allah. For example homosexuality is haraam and an entire nation was destroyed by Allah for this reason, yet today we find Muslims  supporting and even protesting for the right to practice homosexuality under the banner of 'don't judge'. Yes Allah is the only judge and no

The Freedom In Modesty* Written by Naadira Chhipa

*The Freedom In Modesty* Written by Naadira Chhipa There is a new trend of Muslim social media influencers and celebrities who are removing their hijaab and celebrating freedom in that. Their caption often states 'do not judge'. This is extremely sad and very disturbing. These sisters have thousands if not millions of women who emulate, purchase brands they endorse, look to them for inspiration, shower them with attention as well as 'follow' their daily updates. What is the point of removing your hijaab if you are promoting modesty? Why influence the world into believing there is freedom in removing our hijaab?  There are millions of sisters who have fought and are fighting for the right to wear their hijaab in countries in which it is not allowed by law. There are millions of sisters who are struggling to adorn the hijaab and are looking for that extra motivation to do so. There are billions of sisters who find happiness, peace and contentment in wearing their hijaab

When I complain of how uncomfortable my bed is, I remember him, Muhammad (ﷺ) ~ who slept on the palm frond and coarse cloth his entire life. When I become so miser to give and share with others, I remember him, Muhammad (ﷺ) ~ who used to give his everything that he almost left nothing for himself. When I think of how poor I am, I remember him, Muhammad (ﷺ) ~ who loved the poor so much and wanted to be with them in jannah, it cheers me up. When I think of those who hate me, I remember him, Muhammad (ﷺ) ~ who always prayed for those who

Series on The Etiquette of Eating* *Episode 19 [Final Episode]

﷽ *Series on The Etiquette of Eating* *Episode 19 [Final Episode]* Praising Allaah after finishing eating. There is a great deal of virtue in this. It was narrated from Anas ibn Maalik that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah is pleased with His slave when he eats something and praises Him for it, or drinks something and praises Him for it.”  (narrated by Muslim, 2734). *Thought For The Day* We are living a life in which ALLAAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA) bestows on us HIS Favors day and night, but we are wasting our life in other than what we were created for. This is why when death comes all of a sudden, some will beg of ALLAAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA), “My Lord! Send me back.” [Qur'aan 23:99] But, why should you go back and return? “So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!” [Qur'aan 23:100] That Day has not come yet. Therefore, why do you not perform good deeds while able to do so and while healthy, since the Angel

HOW TO USE BLACK SEED OIL AT HOME TO TREAT 70 DISEASES

*HOW TO USE BLACK SEED OIL AT HOME TO TREAT 70 DISEASES* The following list contains only some of the very common conditions that black seed can be effectively used for. All the remedies shown for each condition is based on the best possible combination or based on the practical use related by people in various sources. 1. Baldness and Hair Loss Loss of hair could be either due to age or some other underlying conditions. People have reported to have improved the growth of hair using black seed oil. Just pour some oil in your palm and rub both hands against each other. Massage then to the scalp, especially the bald areas. 2. Beard Growth If you have a thin beard and wants to make it thick, black seed is the solution. Just take some and massage in to the beard. Make sure it reaches the roots. 3. Bee and Wasp Stings When I was a child, I used to “to make the wasps and bees angry” by inserting thins sticks in the wall holes.lol, naughty, any? I used to get stung and when it was on the fac

Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage Episode 219 SOME ARGUMENTS DON'T HAVE A WINNER

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 219* *SOME ARGUMENTS DON'T HAVE A WINNER* I personally will not blame a lady who says she cannot stay in less than a flat. I also feel for the brothers who are bitter about it and it is really understandable on both ends. I know some sisters and because of what I know of how their parents have been struggling to raise them, I would prefer them to marry a wealthy brother provided he has religion. There is nothing wrong if Allah uses marriage to assist a struggling family. On the other hand we must be sensitive enough to understand how it feels to tell a brother who earn less than 30k that if he cannot rent a flat he should forget about you. Do you know how he feels? When I see men who earn that amount and are single I always wonder how they hope to get married. It's actually faith and Alhamdulillah they succeed. It is not for us to rub it in. Perhaps the middle course is that a sister should not bluntly say such. There i

And Allah loves the good-doers. #COMMENTARY There is a subtle symphony in what appears at first sight to be a triple repetition. The relation of such simple regulations as those of food, or game, or the reverence due to a sacred place or sacred institutions, has to be explained vis-a-vis man's higher duties. Baidhāwī is right in classifying such duties under three heads; those due to Allāh, those due from a man to himself (his

REGULAR FASTING IS A SHIELD FOR OUR EEMAAN

It is a lamp of Allaah (ﷻ) which leads the holder to His excellence, and a person cannot be forbearing unless he is aided by the lights of gnosis and Tawhid. Forbearance has five facets which include; *1) When a person is exalted, but then humbled.* *2) When one is truthful, but accused of being a liar.* *3) When one calls people to the truth but gets scorned.* *4) When one is injured without having done any crime.* *5) And when a person demands their rights but got opposed.* When you have given each of these its due, you have achieved the goal.  ﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 218* *How Married couples destroy one another: The Game of Secrets.* It is truly alarming how people are being destroyed today by business allies, friends, or even their family members due to their little secret being exposed by their spouse. Today we are in a society where people live on lies, deception, materialism, and show up. Some people believe they cannot be respected until they show wealth, or how big they fit, or how special they are. All these can lead to your destruction. Although that is not the point I m trying to make today. Are you familiar with a situation whereby a wife sits and discusses her husband’s ways of earning with her friends? Are you familiar with cases of wives posting the photos of their husbands lavish spending? Are you familiar with cases of men who do the same to their wives not with a negative intention but later turns into negative? Are you aware of the fact that some spouses even unintentional

BismilLah.  The people of Paradise are of 3 types as mentioned in the verse below: “ALLAH gave the BOOK, the QURAN) for inheritance to such of Our slaves whom ALLAH chose Then of them are some who wrong their own selves, and of them are some who follow a middle course, and of them are some who are, by ALLAH'S Leave, foremost in good deeds. That (inheritance of the Quran), that is indeed a great grace.” (35:32).  Those who wrong themselves – They have mixed their righteous actions with their evil deeds. As ALLAAH says: “They have mixed a deed that was righteous with another that was evil” (9:102).  From them are those who will enter Jannah out of the Mercy of ALLAAH. Others will enter the Fire for a while and then ALLAAH will exit them from the Fire and enter them into Jannah by way of the Tawheed that they are upon. This is where righteous actions be

Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 217* *DIVORCE YOUR WIVES IN THE ISLAMIC WAY

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 217* *DIVORCE YOUR WIVES IN THE ISLAMIC WAY* It is sad how some men divorce women as if their wives are commodities or something they picked from the bush. Marriage is something that Allah describes as great because it is a form of ibada as much as other forms of ibadat. The Messenger PBUH describes marriage as a path to Jannah. And He even describes men who are kind to wives as the best of men.  Despite its greatness, some people have no regards or respect for marriage and its spiritual practices such as divorce. Divorce is as much ibada as the marriage itself, because it helps settle disputes or lessens the burden of a troubled marriage. Even though it is lawful to separate in marriage, yet, Allah is not pleased when it is done. So we must do it honourably and with caution.  Allah ta'alah and his Messenger have stated certain do's and don'ts we must observe during divorce, which many of us don't follow. Rememb

MARRIED AND SINGLED

MARRIED AND SINGLED “When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love her anymore. I just pitied her! With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten year
