MEN! THE BEARED, IS THE ONLY VISIBLE SUNNAH YOU TAKE INTO YOUR GRAVE 💣

بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ ﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم

Yoonus Ibn ‘Ubaid (رحمه الله) said:

“There is not a thing more stranger than the Sunnah. And what… is more stranger than it, is the one who knows it.”

O' men! The beard is the only visible Sunnah you take into the grave with you.

Shaving the beard is not permissible. SHAVING IT IS HARAAM!

The Prophet (ﷺ) says:

جُزُّوا الشَّوَارِبَ وَاعْفُوا اللِّحَى

“Trim the Moustache and grow the beard.”

أَرْخُوا اللِّحَى

“Let the beards grow.”

وَفِّرُوا اللِّحَى

“Let the beards grow fully.”

خَالِفُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ

“Differ from the polytheists.”

In the Hasanul hadith, when Kissra sent two of his men to the Prophet (ﷺ), their beards were shaved and their mustaches grown, the Prophet (ﷺ)  disliked to look at them, and said:

”وﻱﻠﻜﻤﺎ! ﻣﻦ أﻣَﺮَآُﻤﺎ ﺑﻬﺬا؟“

“Woe to you! Who ordered you to do this (i.e. to shave the beards and grow the mustaches)?”

They said: “Our rabb (i.e. Master) — meaning Kissra.”.

Upon this the Prophet (ﷺ) responded: “But My Rabb (Allāh) Commanded me to let my beard grow, and to trim my mustache.” [hadith hasan]

The hair that grows on the cheeks is from the beard and it is forbidden to shave it."

•[Fatāwāh al-Lajnah (No. 4666)]

Allāh's  Messenger (ﷺ) said: Ten are from the fitrah:

❶Circumcission

❷ Cleaning  nose  with  water

❸ (Cleaning teeth) using Siwak  (tooth stick)

❹ Washing with water after relieving oneself (from  urinals and stools)

❺ Washing the joints

❻【Letting the beard grow】

❼ Trimming the moustache

❽ Clipping  fingernails

❾ Plucking the armpit hair

❿ Shaving pubic hair

#Shaving_The_Beard_is:

①Disobedience

②Extremism & Deviation From The Guidance of Allāh’s Messenger (ﷺ)

③An Alteration of Allāh’s Creation

④A Resemblance of The Kuffār

⑤Taking The Similitude of Women

⑥Humiliation

⑦Deformation

Try to befreind your muslim bro/sisters, If your friends mock bearded Muslims or women in Hijāb you will end up participating in their sins.

Likewise mocking the beard, salah, any of Allāh’s names or anything pertaining to the deen is kufr.

And know that, If anyone criticises your beard, your Hijāb, your Thobe or your Abayāh, just remember you're here to please Allāh, not people

Let us take this famous story from Shaykh ibn Uthaymen (رحمه اللّٰه):

Will I Lose My Beard?

During the last months of Shaykh Uthaymeen’s life he traveled to Rochester, Minnesota’s Mayo clinic to seek treatment for his cancer –(may Allāh ﷻ raise his rank to Firdaws).

They told him that chemotherapy would prolong his life and informed him the side effect of losing his hair.

He asked: (Will I lose my beard?)

They said: (Yes!)

He returned to Al-Qassim refusing the treatment because he could not see himself meeting Allāh ﷻ without a beard.

End of qoute.

Finally

Trim the moustaches.”

عن النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أنه قَالَ “ أَحْفُوا الشَّوَارِبَ وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Trim the mustache and let the beard grow.”

[حديث صحيح]•

He didn’t say: Shave it.

— According to Imām Mālik, shaving the moustache was mutilation; mutilating; the person is mutilating the creation of Allāh; and according to him a punishment is meted out for it. So how about today, wherein many people shave their moustache and their beard? They have become smooth faced and clean shaven; you cannot see in his face anything from manliness!

Brothers! Could you please take some time out and advice the Muslim barbers that they are sinning as well, when they shave the brothers beards and give them haram hair cuts.

They have increased upon this today; they (even) shave their moustaches and their beards. We ask Allāh for security and safety.

May Allāh reward you in this world and the hereafter and remind one another for indeed reminders benefit the believers.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
