[[Episode one 1-of 4]]

-------------------------------------

Duas are like weapons and the goodness of the weapon depends on the person who uses it – not for its sharpness or power. “If the weapon is perfect and free of faults, and the arm of the person using it is strong, and there is nothing stopping him, then he can lay waste to the enemy. But if any of these three features is lacking, then the effect will be lacking accordingly.”

Oh you who believe❗

Allah (swt) say in surah :👉 Al-Baqara (2:186)

And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me (Allah) - indeed I (Allah) am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me (Allah). So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.

Now......

There is an authentic hadith that mentions that - "believers must have faith that Allah will answer their dua".. He may answer by pardoning or obviating our TRAILER LOADs of sins, or by blocking calamities about befalling us...  Or He may defer our request till we are in the Hereafter.

Also........

Another hadith mentions that our dua will be more likely to be accepted if we are patient 😳 .. Yes so long as we are not impatient and give up the dua making easily.

*OUR PROBLEM WHEN IT COMES TO DU'A:*

Majority of muslim faithful today are not patient atall if it comes to matters of Dua to Allah.. If We make dua 3days or weeks or few months and there is no response,, we get discouraged and give-up making the dua Or we begin to ask questions - why me - why me? Or think negative of Allah (swt) as an unjust creator.. Habbah❗

▪️Have we forgotten about many prophets of Allah❓Did we still remember how long prophet Ibrahim (AS) invoke Allah to bless him with a child b4 he had prophet Ismaeel and others❓

▪️If Prophet Musa's prayers will not be answered until at least 40 years later,, then who are u that u will expect *sharp-sharp* response from Allah always❓40years😳❓Yes 40years.. Are u shocked about this❓-

[[Episode Two 2 - of - 4]]

-------------------------------------

So many times we’ve heard Muslims refer to Dua as  being the weapon of the believer more so than worship. Dua plays a major role in the life of the Muslim in regards to his relationship with Allah. When the servant makes dua it affirms that he trusts, relies and is in need of the Most High’s Assistance.

*Continuation of episode one as promised - DU'A (SUPPLICATION):*

PROPHET MUSA (AS) 🆚 PHEERHAOHN

Prophet Musa (AS) noticed that Pheeraohn would never believe in his message, nor would he stop the torture of the children of Israel.. Therefore, he prayed to his Lord thus:

*Musa (AS) Dua:-* "Our Lord! You have indeed bestowed on Pheeraohn and his chiefs splendor and wealth in the life of this world, our Lord! That they may lead men astray from Your Path. Our Lord! Destroy their wealth, and harden their hearts, so that they will not believe until they see the painful torment."

 *Allah's response:*

"Verily, the invocation of you both is accepted. So you both keep to the Straight Way (i.e. keep on doing good deeds and preaching Allah's Message with patience), and follow not the path of those who know not (the truth i.e. to believe in the Oneness of Allah, and also to believe in the Reward of Allah: Paradise".

📚 Surah 10: 88-89

This Dua prophet Musa (AS) made were not answered until at least 40 years later😳.. Yes.. And If this was how long a prophet's prayers were answered by Allah, then me & u - mere believers should not be *hasty* in expecting *sharp-sharp* answer from Allah.. And we must never utter statements to the effect that Allah does not listen to our prayers.

Like i said earlier,, Majority of muslim faithful today are not patient atall if it comes to matters of Dua to Allah.. If We make dua 3days or weeks or few months and there is no response,, we get discouraged and *give-up* making the dua Or we begin to ask questions - why me - why me?? Or think negative of Allah (swt) as an unjust creator.

And.......

▪️ Everybody is having one problem or the other in life bcos,, life is never free without trials &  hardships befalling on us directly or indirectly.. We sometimes feels like difficulties keep adding up on one another.. As Muslims, we should be careful in not losing hope.. Yes.. PERSISTENCY IN DU'A TO ALLAH IS THE ONLY REMEDY.

▪️ One of the things seriously beloved to Allah SWT is to see HIS servant making DU'A.. So,, we should ensure that we don’t get impatient by setting expectations for getting immediate results.. The Prophet (SAW) said:

“You will be answered so long as you are not in a hurry and say, ‘I made dua but I did not receive a response.’” 📚[Narrated by Al-Bukhari, 6340; Muslim, 2735]

▪️ Instead of being impatient, think positively and have faith and hope that Allah will make a way out for you where u never imagine.. And Being impatient will do u nothing but increase your stress and anxiety.

Maybe someone may say - " Some people are not tried or tested in life bcos they are blessed with *excess wealth (In Naira & Dollars),, children,, sound health etc etc* . Wallahi they are also tested.. Yes.. All u think Allah has given them and have denied u in this life,, is their own test & trial😳. Yes..

[[Episode Three 3 - of - 4]]

The place of duaa is so high to Allah, that the Prophet had said:

▪️ “Nothing is more honourable to Allah the Most High than du`a.” 📚[Sahih al-Jami` no.5268].

▪️He also said: “The most excellent worship is du`a.” 📚[Sahih Al-Jami` no. 1133];

And........

In order to warn those who are arogant, or careless in making duaa, the Prophet said:

▪️“The most incapable person is the one who does not make du`a, and the most miserly person is the one who does not give salaam.” 📚[Sahih Al-Jami` no. 1055],

▪️and further, said: “If one does not ask Allah, He will get angry with him.” 📚[Sahih al-Jami` no.2414]

Now.......

Continuation of EPISODE 1 & 2 as promised on - *Dua Making (Supplication):*

Everybody is having one problem or the other in life bcos,, life is never free without trials &  hardships befalling on us directly or indirectly.. We sometimes feels like difficulties keep adding up on one another.. As Muslims, we should be careful in not losing hope.. Yes.. PERSISTENCY IN DU'A TO ALLAH IS THE ONLY REMEDY.

Yes. 👉 Allah (swt) say in surah: Al-Mulk (67:2)

"[He - Allah] who created *death and life to test you* [as to] which of you is best in deed....."

Now.......

✅ This world is the place of striving and the Hereafter is the place of reward or punishment, where the believers will be rewarded with Paradise and the *unsincere muslims or disbelievers* will be punished with Hell.

Paradise is good and none but those who were good will enter it.. Allaah is Good and accepts nothing but that which is good.. So the way of Allaah with His slaves is to test them with calamities and tribulations, so that the believer may be known from the fake believers or disbelivers and so that the truthful may be distinguished from the liar.. Pls Read 👉[Quran surah - al-‘Ankaboot 29:2-3]

✅ Wealth and children are a trial by means of which Allaah tests His slaves, to know who will give thanks for them , and who will be distracted from Allaah by them.

 *EVIDENCE:*

And know that your properties and your children are but a trial and that Allah has with Him a great reward.

📚[al-Anfaal 8:28]

Furthermore........

✅Allah (swt) tests us, sometimes with calamities and sometimes with blessings, to show who will be thankful and who will be ungrateful, and who will obey and who will disobey, then He will reward or punish them on the Day of Resurrection.

 *THE CHILDREN:*

Children are blessing and trial from Allah.. If we keep the trust/amaanah of bringing up the children in a way shareeyyah teaches,, We will be rewarded greatly from this world and even after our demise.. And if we only concentrate on giving them western education and civilization/exposure while our religion get the *left-overs* ,, then, the share of the sin they committed will reach us even after our demise.

 *OUR WEALTH & HEALTH:*

Wealth (In Naira & Dollars) does NOT mean Allah loves you and if u have not,, that doesnt mean Allah hate u.. Yes.. Bcos both situations are test from Allah.

Those who are blessed with wealth will have to answer 2 good questions on the day of judgement - *"How did u acquire the wealth? How did u spend it?"* ... Yes.. Everybody will account for every kobo/Naira/Dollar he or she acquired in this world & how it is spent.

Therefore,,,,,

Both *good* (eg - wealth, children & health) and *bad* (eg - sickness, lack of children, husband, wife etc) are trials from Allah.

 *EVIDENCE:*

...“and We (Allah) shall make a trial of you with evil and with good. And to Us you will be returned”

📚 [al-Anbiya’ 21:35]

[[Episode Four 4 - of - 4]]

-------------------------------------

In times of our anxieties and hardships, when we feel spiritual lows,, some of us resort to doctors and medicines for problems that are not medical,, others seek relief in talking their problems to people, but a few of us remember to turn to Allah (swt) in the first place to treat our problems. We know Allah is the Most Loving; we believe He is bigger than our problems

Oh you who believe❗

There are people in a very *worse* situations than u😳.. Yes..

🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇

Someone came to the market before u does not mean that, the person will sell better than u.. That does not mean that the person will make profit morethan u.

*Did u understand the ABOVE village proverb i used❓*

(1) Bcos ur mates have married does not mean that u will not get married - OR - bcos u will get married lately,, u will not have better blessed children who will make it in this life.. No❗The issue is not about who FIRST get married or FIRST give birth❗No❗It is about getting married and enter paradise through that marriage or getting children who will be a lisence for u entering paradise with ease.

(2) Bcos u are not fortunate to have a perfect sweet long-lasting marriage does not mean that u are a bad person.. No❗You suffered plenty divorces (2X, 3X, 4X) does not mean that u are not good.. Infact, u are 100% better than 80% of people who are enjoying long-lasting marriages today.. But It is just that Allah (swt) has decree that u will pass through this.. And it does not mean that u will not get it right b4 u leave this world.

(3) etc etc etc

EVERYTHING IN THIS LIFE IS A TEST

It is part of the mercy of Allaah that disasters befall sinners in this world, so that their souls might be purified and they might come back to Allaah before they die.. So Allaah tests His slaves, and He loves those who are patient during the trial moments, and he (Allah) gives them the glad tidings of Paradise.

Yes...

Trials can be a sign that Allah intends good for us, because through trials our sins are expiated and we have the opportunity to perform good deeds.

👉Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُصِبْ مِنْهُ

If Allah intends good for someone, then he afflicts him with trials.

📚Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5321, Grade: Sahih

👉Mus’ad ibn Sa’eed reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

الْبَلَاءُ بِالْعَبْدِ حَتَّى يَتْرُكَهُ يَمْشِي عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مَا عَلَيْهِ خَطِيئَةٌ

The servant will continue to be tried until he is left walking upon the earth without any sin.

Allahu Akbar❗❗❗

TIPS TO FOLLOW AT THE TIME OF TRIALS

🌺 1– You should always Say Alhamdulilah,, bcos u are very better than so many people, no matter the situation u are in.

🌺 2 – Engage Urself in repentance in an extensive way.

🌺 3 – Trust Allah whatever befalls u and think well of Him [Allah].. Yes.. During the dark times of Ayyub’s  tribulations he [Ayyub] kept thinking well of Allah.

🌺 4 – Prophet Ayyub (AS) did not relent in making DU'A:~

“Verily, distress has seized me, and You are the Most Merciful of all those who showmercy.” [Qur'an chapter 21 verse 83]

So,, We should make dua to Allah alone PERSISTENTLY, preferably using duas from the Quran and Sunnah.. But one can also make DU'A to Allah SWT using his/her language.

🌺 5 – Be patient; U shouldn’t be hasty in obtaining an answer from Allah.. And remember that Allah, most merciful loves u and everything that befalls u is for the best and temporary.

🌺 6 – Stay away from sins.

🌺 7 - Give charity to the needy (money or food or both).

🌺 8 – Be proactive by being thankful in times of ease (Meaning thanking Allah When u are out any trial)

Allah Alone Know best

Take part in the reward by sharing this amongst ur contacts and groups.

May Allāh guide us. Ameen

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
