INSPIRATIONAL ADVICE: EACH PERSON IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS OWN DEEDS

 *INSPIRATIONAL ADVICE: EACH PERSON IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS OWN DEEDS*

Allah Ta'ala جل جلاله states in the Holy Qur'ān;

يايها الذين آمنوا عليكم أنفسكم

لايضركم من ضل إذا اهتديتم

الى الله مرجعكم جميعا فينبئكم بما كنتم تعملون

'O you who believe! Guard your souls. He who has gone astray cannot harm you, if you are rightly guided. To Allah will you all return; and (then) He will inform you of what you used to do.'

(Surah al-Mā'idah: 105)

Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Taqi Uthmāni Sahib حفظه الله has said that this verse tells us clearly that we are all going to be accountable for our deeds. No one will be responsible for the deeds of another.

It is imperative we should take care and reform ourselves first. When we are going to be presented in the Court of Allah Ta'ala جل جلاله, we have to remind ourselves that we will have to account for our deeds. We should therefore be mindful of our actions before turning our attention to others. Every one of us must critically analyse our actions, conduct and character - search for the sins that we are involved in. If we are guilty of any acts of disobedience, we should give up those sins and reform ourselves. It should not happen that we become engaged in reforming others and be neglectful of our own islāh.(reformation). Before we decide to character assassinate others and point fingers at them, Remember that 3 fingers point at you first.  Always leave someone with a piece of your heart, rather than a piece of your mind.

 "If you expose yourself to sin, you eventually become numb to it"

Allah Ta'ala protect us from our Shaytaan and our own Nafs(carnal desires) .May he make us of those who are a source of peace and comfort to others.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today?

 One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

PURIFICATION OF THE HEART

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. We must purify our hearts from spiritual sins such as greed, malice, envy, arrog...
