*Anger - The Deadliest Trait of The Hypocrites*

➖➖➖

Allaah (ﷻ) says;

*وَٱلْكَٰظِمِينَ ٱلْغَيْظَ وَٱلْعَافِينَ عَنِ ٱلنَّاسِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ*

*“. . . And [those] who restrain anger and [those] who pardon the people - and Allaah loves the doers of good.”*

(Aal-e-Imran 3:134)

Anger is the most dangerous disease of the soul, a trait of the hypocrites and one of Shaytaan's qualities. It snatches away the wisdom of man and thus becomes a brute beast devoid of any sense.

Anger is one of the temptations and deceptions of Shaytaan, it is the root of all evils. Anger is a spark of fire that is always bursting, it is one of the worst conditions that weaken the Imaan.

__

*What does anger mean?* The meaning of anger is a rage fierce, displeasure, passion excited by a sense of wrong, physical pain, inflammation, mad, hot-tempered, choleric, inflamed, a violent passion excited by real or supposed injury.

Anger is the strong feelings caused by extreme displeasure, it is a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, and hostility.

Once a man said to Allaah's Messenger (ﷺ); *_“Advice me!.”_*

He (ﷺ) replied; *_“Do not become angry and furious.”_*

The man repeated his request, saying; *_“Advice me!.”_*

He (ﷺ) replied; *_“Do not become angry and furious.”_*

The man asked (the same) again and again, and the Prophet (ﷺ) said in each case; *_“Do not become angry and furious.”_*

(Sahih al-Bukhari, 6116)

Ya Bani Adam! Why have you chosen this for yourself? Why have we chosen the deadliest trait of the hypocrites?

Anger is not considered as something strong but the real strength lies in absorbing the negative emotions, in order to control the harmful effects it may cause.

When someone is angry, mad and reaches a state of having wrath against any person, he should remember what our beloved one (ﷺ) said; *_“The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger.”_*

(Sahih al-Bukhari, 6114)

_“‘Do not get angry’ means: do not act in accordance with what your anger makes you incline towards, and restrain yourself. *As for anger itself, a human can’t prevent it;* rather, what they can prevent is acting in according to what anger calls one to do….”_ [Suyuti, Tanwir al-Hawalik, 1.212]

Khattabi said, _‘The meaning of ‘Do not get angry’ is: don’t fall into those matters that cause anger and those matters that stir one’s anger—because *anger itself is an intrinsic human trait and one can’t get rid of it*…’”_ [Ayni, Umdat al-Qari Sharh Sahih al-Bukhari, 22.164]

The religion of Islam teaches love, peace, to be positive, not to degrade someone, not to insult someone, to avoid each and every word that hurts human beings and their self-esteem.

Our religion teaches humanity better than any other religion. Anger destroys relationships and creates distances in people. It will not only affects other people but also, will affect the health of the angry person.

__

Anger is satanic, it comes with the worst scenarios which can affect oneself or anybody around during the process, just as this man in the video, did to himself while in anger and I think he's no longer alive.

Anger creates hatred in relationships, causes divorce in marriages, and may create long term distance in relations.

So be very careful while in anger: *_Sit down while standing, if the anger leaves you, good; otherwise, lie down,_* (See, Sunan Abi Dawud, 4782).

And always *_seek Allaah's (ﷻ) protection against Shaytaan the outcast while in anger,_* (See, Sahih al-Bukhari, 6115)

May Allaah (ﷻ) grant us the strength to control our actions and emotions while angry.

*آمين يا رب العالمين*

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
