LOVE FOR THE PROPHET ﷺ

*LOVE FOR THE PROPHET  ﷺ*

➖➖➖

*Loving him ﷺ more than anyone else*

*Translation of video:*

By Allah! The love of Muhammad ﷺ is more beloved to us than the love for our mothers!

Our mothers brought us out from the womb into the Dunya.

As for Muhammad ﷺ, Allah brought us out from the fire and into Jannah through him,

From misguidance to guidance.

_"No Ibn Al Khattab! Until I am more beloved to you than yourself!"_

He said _"By the one who sent you with the truth, you are now more beloved to me than myself"_

He ﷺ said _"Now oh Umar!"_

*قُل إِن كُنتُم تُحِبُّونَ اللهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحبِبكُم اللهُ*

_Say if you Love Allah them follow me, Allah will love you._

[3:31]

_____

Hasan Al Basri رحمه الله called this Ayah the Ayah of testing.

It tests the believers, that if they truly love Allah ﷻ, they will follow Muhammad ﷺ.

_

The Hadith the Shaykh is referring to,

_We were with the Prophet ﷺ whilst he was holding the hand of Umar ibn Al Khattab رضي الله عنه. So Umar said to him "Oh Messenger of Allah indeed you are more beloved to me than everything except myself" so the Prophet ﷺ said "No, by the One in whose hand is my soul, until I am more beloved to you than yourself"_

_So Umar رضي الله عنه said "Now, by Allaah, you are dearer to me than my own self"_

_And He ﷺ replied "Now you are right, O Umar!"_

[Sahih Al-Bukhari No.6257]

And the Prophet ﷺ also said

*لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى أكون أحب إليه من والده وولده والناس أجمعين*

_None of you (truly) believe until I am more beloved to him than his parents, his children and all the people._

[Sahih Muslim No.44]

_

A major aspect of having Ihsaan, (the highest level of Imaan) is to love the Prophet ﷺ unconditionally above everyone else!

_

When the bedouin asked "When is the final hour?"

And the Prophet ﷺ replied "What have you prepared for it?"

So he said *"Love for Allah and his Messenger"*

And he ﷺ said _"You will be with the one you love"_

[Sahih Al-Bukhari No.3688]

_

The Sahaba رضي الله عنهم rejoiced like never before because of this Hadith!

Because of their complete love!

_

*Where do we stand?*

Reflect...

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
