DO NOT DISOBEY ALLAH TO PLEASE ANYONE AS WE WILL RUN AWAY FROM THEM ON JUDGEMENT DAY

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-Sabt, 25th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Saturday, 28th September 2024). *_DO NOT DISOBEY ALLAH TO PLEASE ANYONE AS WE WILL RUN AWAY FROM THEM ON JUDGEMENT DAY_*. BismilLah.

Unfortunately, due to our weak eemaan,  some are happy to disobey ALLAH or to even sin to please their parents, children, wives, etc.

ALLAH warns us in Qur'an 80:33

When there comes the Deafening Blast, meaning the thunderous shout of the Day of Judgement. It has been called this because it will deafen the ears. This means that the hearing of the trumpet pierces the hearing to such an extent that it almost deafens the ears Astaqfirullah.

On the day, a man will flee from his brother, his mother, his father, his wife, and his children.

ALLAH added,

Every man that Day will have enough to make him careless of others.

meaning, he will be preoccupied in his business and distracted from the affairs of others.

Ibn Abi Hatim recorded from Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of ALLAH said,

You will all be gathered barefoot, naked, walking and uncircumcised.

So his wife said, "O Messenger of ALLAH! Will we look at or see each other's nakedness" The Prophet replied,

Every man among them on that Day will have enough (worries) to make him careless of others. SubhaanAllah.

*_May ALLAH aid us to strive for our abode in Jannah_*. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

BELIEF IN PRE-DECREE (al-Qadar) CREATES PEACE IN OUR HEART continues

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 26th day of Swafar 1447AH, Wednesday, 20th August 2025. *_BELIEF IN PRE-DECREE (al-Qadar) CREATES PEACE IN OUR HEART continues_*. BismilLah.  For the past few days, we have been reminding ourselves that calamities in our lives can also be blessings in disguise. Let's continue with some of the wisdom behind calamities:  10. Another reason behind calamities and hardship is that a person becomes able to distinguish between true friends and friends who only have their own interests at heart. You may be so close to a colleague but wait for a calamity to you to see his or her real nature.  11. Calamities remind us of our sins so that we can repent from them.  ALLAH Azzawajal says:  “Whatever of good reaches you, is from ALLAH, but whatever of evil befalls you, is from yourself” [al-Nisa’ 4:79]. “And whatever misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much” [al-Shoora 42:30]. Calamitie...

PURIFICATION OF THE HEART

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. We must purify our hearts from spiritual sins such as greed, malice, envy, arrog...
