Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 155 and 156

Those of you who turned back on the day the two hosts met (i.e. the battle3 of Uhud), it was Shaitan (Satan) who caused them to backslide (run away from the battlefield) because of some (sins) they had earned. But Allah, indeed, has forgiven them. Surely, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing. *COMMENTARY* It was the duty of all who were able to fight, to the fight in the sacred cause at Uhud. But a small section were timid: they were not quite as bad as those who railed against Allāh, or those who thoughtlessly disobey orders. But they still failed in their duty. It is our inner motives that Allāh regards. These timorous people were forgiven by Allāh. Perhaps they were given another chance: perhaps they rose to it and did their duty then. Many of us seem to spend an incredible amount of time and energy chasing the dream job. Afterall, a bigger paycheck often translates into a better car, a bigger house and a higher worldly social status. Each of us is dreaming such big which also includes good beautiful wife, wealthy husband etc. But we are warned about this in The Qur’an where ALLAH says  *Alhaakumuttakaathur hatta zurtumulmaqaabir* “Rivalry in worldly increase distracts you (from the remembrance of ALLAH), till you come to the graves” (102: 1-2). “Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and ALLAH has with HIM a great reward.” (64:15). Ever think of the results of all of your worldy efforts? ”It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.” (79:46). (And remember) when you ran away (dreadfully) without even casting a side glance at anyone, and the Messenger (Muhammad [Blessings and Peace of Allāh be upon him]) was in your rear calling you back. From the low ground on the bank of the valley the Muslims retreated in ...

DIFFICULTIES IN LIFE ARE A BLESSINGS FOR WE BELIEVERS

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arbaà, 30th day of RAJAB (Wednesday 25th of March, 2020). *_DIFFICULTIES IN LIFE ARE A BLESSINGS FOR WE BELIEVERS_*. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. If life has been difficult for you and calamities after calamities befall you, hear the good news from the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam): 'Trials will continue to befall the believing men and women, with regard to themselves, their children and their wealth, until they meet ALLAH (Malik-al-Mulk, The Owner of All Sovereignty) with no sin on them.' (Tirmidhi). Subhaan Allah! No sin?! And what is it from this world that you wouldn't give up, just to meet ALLAH (Dhu-al-Jalaliwa-al-Ikram, The Lord of Majesty and Generosity) with no sin!! This narration indicates that, the difficulties we face due to our own disobedience to ALLAH (An-Nuur, The Light) is a means to expiate for our sins. That's why non Muslims sin but still enjoy because they have no share of paradise when they die. We a...

Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 59*

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 59* *EARLY MARRIAGE* Marriage can be defined as a mutual relationship ordained by Allah for the believers as an act of ibadah between two people who love, trust, care, understand and respect each other for the sake of Allah so as to attain jannah, procreate children, fulfill their sexual desires, unite and enjoy companionship. The prophet said, there is nothing better for two people who love each other than marriage (Jamii tirmidhi). The importance of marriage can be traced back to the early days of Adam alayhi salam. When Allah created him, the first thing Allah gave him is knowledge, and the second thing Allah gave him is marriage (hawa r.a) Subhanallah. These shows how significance of nikkah. Adam alahyi salam felt lonely, Allah didn't give him a TV to while away time, he didn't give him PS3, or blackberry, iPhone or a car or laptop, but Allah gave him our mother in marriage. How can we now hesitate to mar...

AR-RAHĪQ AL-MAKHTOUM (The Pure Nectar). A Treaties On Prophet Muhammad's Biography.* *Part 179*

﷽ *AR-RAHĪQ AL-MAKHTOUM (The Pure Nectar). A Treaties On Prophet Muhammad's Biography.* *Part 179* *THE BATTLE OF KHAIBAR (Muharram, 7 A.H.)* Khaibar was a strongly fortified town, containing forts and farms. It is eighty miles north of Madīnah, with unhealthy climate. THE REASONS OF THE BATTLE After the conclusion of Al-Hudaibiyya treaty, the Prophet (Blessings and Peace of Allāh be upon him) settled matters with the major party of anti-islam tripartite coalition, Quraish. He then intended to settle affairs with the other two wings, the Jews and Najd tribe to spread peace as well as security, and help Muslims propagate the message of Allāh (Glory be to Allāh). Khaibar was a seedbed of schemes as well as conspiracies, in addition to being a source of military provocations and war instigation centre. Therefore, it came on top of Muslims' agenda. The people of Khaibar had previously incited Banu Quraizah to practise treachery and betrayal against Muslims. They con...
