 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 25th day of Ramadhan, 1447AH, Saturday, 14th March, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-LAYL(Qur’an 92), WITH SOME PRACTICAL LESSONS FOR DAILY LIFE_*. BismilLah. Let's continue from yesterday's reminder on this suurah.  Verse 1 وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ By the night as it covers. ALLAH Azzawajal begins by swearing by the night when it envelops everything in darkness. In the Qur’an, ALLAH often swears by elements of creation to draw attention to their signs and wisdom. The alternation of night and day reminds humans that life also has contrasting paths and outcomes. Practical Lessons (Ramadan): Night is a time for reflection, prayer and closeness to ALLAH Azzawajal. Ramadan nights are especially valuable for Tahajjud and Qur’an recitation.  FAJR REMINDER: FROM A CAPTIVE TO A WIFE By: Umm Affān Ramaḍān 25, 1447 (14-March-2026) During the battle between the Muslims and the tribe of Banu Al-Mustaliq, one of those taken captive was their princess, Juwayriyah Bint Al-Ḥārith. She came into the possession of Thābit Ibn Qays Ibn Shammās (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) as part of the war captives. This situation, however, was extremely difficult for her to accept. Determined to regain her freedom, she approached her master and negotiated a contract of emancipation. It was agreed that she would purchase her freedom for nine Ūqiyyah. Yet she had no means to gather such a large amount, especially now that the daughter of a chief had become a captive without wealth. Seeking help, Juwayriyah insisted on meeting the Prophet (ﷺ), the one person she believed could assist her. She was known for her remarkable beauty and striking appearance. Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the blessed month.  Suurah Al-Layl is the 92nd chapter of the Qur'an. The Suurah contrasts two types of people: those who give, fear ALLAH Azzawajal and believe, and those who are stingy and deny the truth. It teaches that people choose different paths, and ALLAH Azzawajal makes the consequences of those paths. People choose different paths in life. Charity, faith and taqwa lead to ease and success. Stinginess and denial lead to hardship. True believers give sincerely for ALLAH Azzawajal. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

 *Day 23 - Signs of the Fasiqun: Rejection and Corruption* _Read time: 2-3 Minutes_ Allah, Most Exalted, states: ﴿ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَسۡتَحۡیِۦۤ أَن یَضۡرِبَ مَثَلࣰا مَّا بَعُوضَةࣰ فَمَا فَوۡقَهَاۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ فَیَعۡلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمۡۖ وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَیَقُولُونَ مَاذَاۤ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَـٰذَا مَثَلࣰاۘ یُضِلُّ بِهِۦ كَثِیرࣰا وَیَهۡدِی بِهِۦ كَثِیرࣰاۚ وَمَا یُضِلُّ بِهِۦۤ إِلَّا ٱلۡفَـٰسِقِینَ﴾ [البقرة ٢٦] ﴿ٱلَّذِینَ یَنقُضُونَ عَهۡدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مِیثَـٰقِهِۦ وَیَقۡطَعُونَ مَاۤ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦۤ أَن یُوصَلَ وَیُفۡسِدُونَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَـٰسِرُونَ﴾ [البقرة ٢٧] Indeed, Allah does not shy away from presenting an example — even of a mosquito or something smaller.  *THE SUPPLICATION FOR LAYLATUL-QADR* The best du'a to make on Laylatul-Qadr can be found in a well-known hadith reported on the authority of 'Ā'ishah (may ALLĀH be pleased with her) who said, I said: "O Messenger of ALLĀH! Believers should respond with kindness and respect. Practical Lessons: Never humiliate someone asking for help. If you cannot give, respond politely and kindly. Ramadan teaches generosity and compassion. They may not always have solutions to our problems, but at times we simply feel the need to talk to someone and unburden our hearts. Subḥānallāh! In moments like these, where do we place Allāh in our lives? He is the One Who answers every supplication—the One Who hears and understands every thought, every language, and every silent expression. If we truly believe that He listens, then we should turn to Him and speak to Him. As we are in the final part of Ramaḍān, it is an ideal time to privately present our requests to Him.  FAJR REMINDER: WASTE NOT YOUR TIME! By: Umm Affān Ramaḍān 22, 1447 (11-March-2026) Without a doubt, the finest guidance is that which comes from Allāh and His Prophet, while the most detrimental matters are those innovations that have been introduced into Islām. A’ishah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha) narrated: “When the last ten nights of Ramaḍān arrived, the Prophet (ﷺ) would tighten his belt, spend the night in worship, and awaken his family.” [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 2024, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1174] This indicates that during the concluding ten nights of Ramaḍān, the Prophet (ﷺ) would engage more intensely in worship than at other times. This is the best of mankind. He stands as the ultimate model for anyone aiming for success. It is indeed unfortunate to see invitations encouraging participation in Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Decree) celebration. Let's continue with our Qur’an studies from yesterday's reminder; Verse 8️⃣  وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ “And ALLAH found you in need and made you self-sufficient.” The Prophet ﷺ experienced financial hardship early in life, but ALLAH Azzawajal enriched him through blessings, including marriage to Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, through contentment and wealthy companions such as Abubakar RA. Even though true richness is not wealth but satisfaction of the heart. Practical Lessons: Appreciate the blessings ALLAH Azzawajal has given you. Ramadan teaches contentment with little.
