Let's continue with our understanding of what we say during salaat. SUJUUD. Sujuud (prostration) is one of the most powerful positions in ṣalaah. The body is at its lowest, yet spiritually it is a position of tremendous honour and closeness to ALLAH Azzawajal. We then say: سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى Subḥaana Rabbiyal-Aʿalaa Meaning: “Glory is to my LORD, the Most High.” It is normally repeated three times, though the number is not restricted to exactly three.
