Sayyidul Istighfaar • [The greatest invocation for forgiveness]

﷽ *REFLECTIONS*                   •Sayyidul Istighfaar • [The greatest invocation for forgiveness] Rasulullah ﷺ  has stated regarding Sayyidul Istighfaar: “If anyone recites it during the day with firm faith and dies before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise and if anyone recites it at night with firm faith and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.” [Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith #: 6306] ●The best form of Istighfaar is Sayyidul Istighfaar which is as follows: Transliteration: Allahumma Anta Rabbee La Ilaha Illa Anta. Practical Steps Toward Sincere Repentance

*6 Practical Steps Toward Sincere Repentance* Most people are aware of the conditions people must fulfill before their repentance is accepted, namely giving up the sin, regretting the sin, and determining never to commit it again. However, in this article we will highlight some practical steps people should follow in order to help achieve sincere repentance. *1⃣: Trying to count all the sins that you have committed since adulthood until the present time.* This is an introduction to repenting for all these sins, because when the soul considers all its sins, it will be humble and tend to repent as soon as possible. Here is a list of the categories of sins to help you remember your past sins: - Sins of the body, such as the tongue (backbiting, tale-bearing, lying, and ridiculing others); the eyes (looking at what is prohibited), ears, hands, feet and private parts. - Sins of the heart, such as arrogance, envy, aggression, self-conceit, and so on. - Negligence in performing...

The Happiest Woman in the World* *(A Treasure Chest of Reminders)* *Part 4 of 9*

﷽ *The Happiest Woman in the World* *(A Treasure Chest of Reminders)* *Part 4 of 9* *THE GAME OF ACCUMULATING WEALTH HAS NO END* "... And (Allāh) has not laid upon you in religion any hardship..." [Qur'an 22:78] Beaverbrook said: "I accumulated a great deal of wealth, but I realised from experience that persisting in that game - the game of accumulating wealth - was very dangerous and had no end, and it would consume my life and happiness. So, I changed my profession and found a job I liked in the publishing field, which did not generate much wealth, but it brought me happiness and served society. I advise every man who has accumulated enough wealth to suffice him, to stop playing this money-game and retire early, so he can enjoy what he has achieved and plan to do work that he likes, so that he can serve society and enjoy his time." The one who has an accumulated wealth has little concern about leaving behind a large estate for his heirs, because h...

AR-RAHĪQ AL-MAKHTOUM (The Pure Nectar). A Treaties On Prophet Muhammad's Biography.* *Part 92*

﷽ *AR-RAHĪQ AL-MAKHTOUM (The Pure Nectar). A Treaties On Prophet Muhammad's Biography.* *Part 92* *THE GREAT BATTLE OF BADR continues* *EXCELLENT MODELS OF BELIEF IN THIS BATTLE* 1. We talked previously about two grand models presented by 'Umair Ibnul-Himām and 'Awf Ibnul-Hārith (Ibn 'Afrāa). This battle demonstrated fantastic scenes that clarify the strength of creed and the firmness of principle. Sons fought their pagan fathers, brothers confronted their polytheists brothers. They were at variance as to principles and swords came to end the difference between them. Ibn Is'hāq narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Abbās that he said: The Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) said to his Companions: "It came to my knowledge that some men of Quraish were compelled to move out for fight despite their reluctance to do so. If one of you meets anyone of Banu Hāshim, Abul-Bukhtury Ibn Hāshim and Al-'Abbās Ibn 'Abdul-Mutallib, he shouldn't k...

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 203 and 204

And remember Allah during the appointed Days. But whosoever hastens to leave in two days, there is no sin on him and whosoever stays on, there is no sin on him, if his aim is to do good and obey Allah (fear Him), and know that you will surely be gathered unto Him. *COMMENTARY* The Appointed Days: the three days after the tenth, when the Pilgrims stay on in the Valley of Minā for prayer and praise. DOES ISLAM TREAT MEN AND WOMEN EQUAL

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 2nd day of Rabeeu' Athaani (Friday 29th of November, 2019). *_DOES ISLAM TREAT MEN AND WOMEN EQUAL?_*. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's note that this word *_equality_* is a word which is based on deviation and a lack of understanding, especially when the speaker attributes this idea of equality to the Qur’an and to Islam. One of the things that people misunderstand is when they say that “Islam is the religion of equality”. What they should say is that Islam is the religion of justice. But if we say justice, which means giving each one that to which he or she is entitled, this misunderstanding no longer applies, and the word used is correct. Hence it does not say in the Qur’aan that ALLAAH enjoins equality, rather it says:  “Verily, ALLAAH enjoins Al‑‘Adl (i.e. justice)”al-Nahl 16:90]. ALLAH says; “and that when you judge between men, you judge with justice” al-Nisa’ 4:58. *_May ALLAH keep guiding us all and increase us in ...

THE SUPPORTIVE SPOUSE

*:::THE SUPPORTIVE SPOUSE:::* ^ ^ Sayyidah Zainab Thaqafiyyah (radhiyallahu ‘anha), also known by the name ‘Raitah’, was the respected wife of the renowned Sahaabi, Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah bin Mas‘ood (radhiyallahu ‘anhu). Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah bin Mas‘ood (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) had dedicated his time to remaining in the blessed company of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) to serve him and acquire the knowledge of Deen from him. Through this effort, Allah Ta‘ala blessed him to become one of the leading Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum) in the field of the knowledge of Deen. Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah bin Mas‘ood (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) did not possess abundant wealth, and he had sacrificed earning a living to acquire the knowledge of Deen from Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam). As for his wife, Sayyidah Zainab (radhiyallahu ‘anha), she not only accepted his decision happily, but even tried her best to assist him in his noble endeavour! She would thus see to the needs of the household...

The Happiest Woman in the World* *(A Treasure Chest of Reminders)* *Part 3 of 9*

﷽ *The Happiest Woman in the World* *(A Treasure Chest of Reminders)* *Part 3 of 9* *HASTE AND RECKLESSNESS ARE THE FUEL OF MISERY* "And seek help through patience and as-salāh (the prayer)..." [Qur'an 2:45] Patience is like a knight that can defeat foolish desires. Deliberation means being certain and not being hasty, and taking action based on rational thought and wisdom. These two characteristics can defeat anxiety; whoever is lacking in them is missing out on a lot of goodness and will suffer a great deal of anxiety. The patient person can ward off many evils, but the fool does not control his anger and lets evil increase and the causes of anxiety grow greater and take root. The person who is deliberate seldom feels regret or does something whose consequences are unknown. But the foolish and hasty person is no stranger to regret, anxiety and bad consequences. Similarly, if a person is kind to himself and others, he will be successful and will be used to bei...

﷽ *AR-RAHĪQ AL-MAKHTOUM (The Pure Nectar). A Treaties On Prophet Muhammad's Biography.* *Part 91* *THE GREAT BATTLE OF BADR continues* *ABU JAHL KEEPS STEADFAST* As regards the great oppressor, Abu Jahl, as he noted the signs of failure and disorder appear in the ranks of the polytheists, he wanted to resist the flood of Muslims' assaults and encourage his army, saying haughtily: "Don't let the abandonment of Surāqa disappoint you. He has made a compromise with Muhammad. Don't be dismayed by the killing of 'Utba, Shaiba and Al-Walīd. They were precipitate and unwise. By Lat and 'Uzza, I won't retreat till I have taken them captive and seen you killing them. Destroy them completely to average their misdeeds." Quickly his haughtiness melted away and his ranks began to split against the Muslims' ruthless attacks. Although a band of polytheists encircled him as a hedge of swords and lances, Muslims' crushing assaults destroyed it en...

And of them there are some who say: "Our Lord! And Allah is Swift at reckoning. *COMMENTARY* Our spiritual account is mounting up, both on the debit and credit side. In worldly accounts, both our profits and our losses may be delayed. But in Allāh's books there is no delay. Our actions go before us.

DO NOT SPEAK WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 1st day of Rabeeu' Athaani (Thursday 28th of November, 2019). *_DO NOT SPEAK WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE_*. BismilLah. ALLAH says in Qur'an 17:36; And follow not that of which you have no knowledge. Verily, the hearing, and the sight, and the heart of, Ali bin Abi Talhah reported that Ibn Abbas said: "(This means) do not say (anything of which you have no knowledge)." "It means bearing false witness." "Do not say, I have seen', when you did not see anything, or `I have heard', when you did not hear anything, or `I know', when you do not know, for ALLAH will ask you about all of that." In conclusion, ALLAH forbids speaking without knowledge and only on the basis of suspicion, which is mere imagination and illusions. Avoid much suspic...

A Woman Equals To A Thousand Men

🤲إمرأة بألف رجل 🤲 A Woman Equals To A Thousand Men A teacher of  Qur’aan in a Masjid shared a story of a young boy. A young boy came to register for the Qur’aan memorisation class. The teacher asked him “Have you memorized anything from the Qur’aan?” The boy replied in the affirmative. The teacher asked him to recite from Juzz Amma (Juzz 30) and the boy recited the whole Juzz. Then the teacher asked him “did you memories Surah Tabarak (Juzz 29)?” The boy said “Yes!” and the teacher was surprised by his memorisation despite his young age. The teacher then asked the boy to recite Surah  Nahl (Juzz 14) and the response was the same, and the boy recited the whole Surah. The teacher increased in his admiration of the boy. The teacher then tested him from the long Surat and asked him “have you memorized Surat Al Baqrah ? The boy again said yes and recited the Surah without any mistakes. The teacher was surprised and said “oh my son, have you memories all whole Quran???” The b...

INCREASE AN EXTRAVAGANCE; to have more than one needs. This addition is the way, which Satan uses to enter the heart. To protect oneself from that is to be careful not to fulfill all the needs of the soul like food, sleep, pleasure, or rest. Whenever you close this door, you would be safe from any enemy. 2. The Happiest Woman in the World* *(A Treasure Chest of Reminders)* *Part 2 of 9*

﷽ *The Happiest Woman in the World* *(A Treasure Chest of Reminders)* *Part 2 of 9* *HAPPINESS CANNOT BE BOUGHT WITH MONEY* "...So Allāh will suffice for you against them..." [Qur'an 2: 137] There are men who spend their youth and health to accumulate wealth, then spend the rest of their lives spending all that they have acquired in an attempt to buy happiness, but all they get is misery. Or they try to reclaim their youth, but old age overtakes them. Or they try to get their health back, but incurable disease overtakes them. A famous actor said that all he ever wanted in life was money. He thought that with money he would be able to be the happiest man in the world for a hundred years! He was confident that if he had money he would be able to achieve all he wished and that everything he hoped for would fall into his hands. After twenty years, Allāh gave him more money than he had wished for, but He took away his health and his youth and dreams! It was repo...

While doing so, he was caught by al-Hārith Ibn Hishām (thinking that he was Surāqa). But he punched al-Hārith in the chest and knocked him down and fled away. Upon seeing him fleeing away, polytheists said to him: "Where are you going Surāqa? Didn't you say that you would protect us? Don't leave us." He replied: Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 48: And (remember) when9 Sh...

What is LIFE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arbaà, 30th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Wednesday 27th of November, 2019). *_What is LIFE_*? BismilLah. To understand life better, you have to go to 3 locations. Hospital, Prison and Cemetery. At the Hospital, you will understand that nothing is more beautiful than HEALTH. In the Prison, you'll see that FREEDOM is the most precious thing. At the Cemetery, you will realize that life is worth nothing. The ground that we walk today will be our roof tomorrow. We all came with Nothing and we will go with Nothing... Let us, therefore, remain humble and be thankful & grateful to ALLAH at all times for everything. *_May ALLAH, AL-GHANIYY (The Self-Sufficient, The Wealthy) keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

BEAUTY WHERE IT BELONGS*

*BEAUTY WHERE IT BELONGS* ^ ^ ❤-There is a well known principle in life which states, “There is a time and place for everything”. When correct time and place are not taken into consideration, an experience that would have otherwise been extremely enjoyable becomes disappointing and a pain to endure. ❤-To understand this in perspective, take the example of a platter of steaming hot, delicious food. The aroma of this gastronomic delight wafts through the air and it’s so tantalizing that people involuntary begin to lick their lips. As appetizing as the platter may be, however, if it is placed in the cubicle of a public toilet, people will refuse to even give it a second glance. This is simply because it was not in the correct place. ❤-On the same note, Islam instructs women to beautify themselves for their husbands. The Happiest Woman in the World* *(A Treasure Chest of Reminders)* *Part 1 of 9*

﷽ *The Happiest Woman in the World* *(A Treasure Chest of Reminders)* *Part 1 of 9* *DO NOT SPEND YOUR TIME DOING NOTHING* "Therefore, remember Me (by praying, glorifying). I will remember you..." [Qur'an 2:152] Your prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) said to 'Ā'ishah (may Allāh be pleased with her): "If you commit a sin, then ask Allāh for forgiveness and repent to Him, for if a person acknowledges his sin and repents, Allāh will accept his repentance. Imagine that you possess all the money you ever wanted and achieved all your dreams and fulfilled all your wishes, then you lost everything. You would weep and complain, and be filled with respect; you would bite your fingers in sorrow for what you have lost. So what about your life which is slipping away from you without you even realising it? Your life is a precious jewel whose value cannot be measured in material terms. Every minute of your life that passes can never come back. These m...

_HOW IMPORTANT IS MAKKAH AND MADEENAH TO THE MUSLIM WORLD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 29th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Tuesday 26th of November, 2019). . *_HOW IMPORTANT IS MAKKAH AND MADEENAH  TO THE  MUSLIM WORLD?_* BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. ALLAH has made MAKKAH and MADEENAH the places of resort for mankind and a place of safety and a holy sanctuary where pilgrims can gather to perform the rituals of Hajj (Pilgrimage) and ‘Umrah (lesser pilgrimage) in an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility, hoping for Allah’s Reward and fearing HIS Punishment (Glorified be HE). It is also a place where the reward for performing Salah (Prayer) and righteous deeds is multiplied. It's a place with 💯% security from ALLAH that's why men and women can pray together bcs Satan has no chance to influence anyone at that Holy place. As muslims it must be among our most important priorities to visit this country either for Hajj for all those who can afford. You can also plan Umra especially around Ramadan as a visit to gain more reward...

SIGNS OF IMMATURITY IN MARRIAGE FOR MEN

SIGNS OF IMMATURITY IN MARRIAGE FOR MEN: 💥Rejecting food when there's an issue: Mr husband, you gave your wife money for food and after it was prepared you refused to eat because you are angry. It's one of the greatest signs of immaturity, it's time to grow up! You should not even abandon your home for any reason. You could go somewhere when angry but ensure that you don't allow it to linger unnecessarily because that is enough for the devil to build on even though some women can be really troublesome. 💥Telling your wife severally that you are the head:  May I let you know that even when your wife disobeys/ disrespect you she still knows that you are the head. You need not shout or scream it daily. Or do we need to get you a slot on CNN? It's important for you to know when and how to be firm and put your feet down over issues, however don't become a nagging husband just to prove that you are the head. 💥 Issuing threats: beating, verbally abusing...

Are you a husband?

:::::::Are you a husband?::::::: بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم If you are a husband this is for you. Many times we receive compains from loving wives about their husbands. These wives are not actually complaining about maltreatment or abuse. Instead, they are complaining about the fact that their husband is not religious enough. So let me tell you what your good wife thinks and feels about your behaviour towards your religion and character. -★-She feels very bad that you don't observe salah on time or you don't even perform completely. -★-She feels bad that you are not taking lead because naturally, you should be showing good examples. A leader should lead by example. -★-And she is feeling bad that your children wont be able to do good enough bcos you are also not doing it good enough. -★-Maybe you have bad habits such as drinking or maybe you don't stay at home all day, you only come home to sleep when everyone is asleep. As a matter o...

People often say:* *"Our actions are judged by our Intentions

*People often say:* *"Our actions are judged by our Intentions"*. ﷽ The above phrase is a quotation from a hadith from An-Nawawi collection. Where Rasoulillah says our actions are judged by our intentions especially during the time of Hijra. So basically the hadith is partly talking about Hijra fisabilillah. But today, you find some Muslims using this hadith to commit sins, then justify their action by saying  "Our actions are judged by our Intentions".  For example: 1. When a sister goes out without proper Islamic dressing she says don't judge me  "Our actions are judged by our Intentions". 2. When a brother lower his trousers below his butts and you correct him, he says don't judge me  "Our actions are judged by our Intentions". 3. When people introduce one thing or another, when they are corrected, they say don't judge me  "Our actions are judged by our Intentions". Enough of this. Allah ta'alah is not a ...

Three Destructive Actions

*Three Destructive Actions* Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar Radhiyallahu Anhuma reports that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam said, “There are three people whom Allah Ta‘ala will not look at (with the sight of mercy) on the Day of Qiyaamah; the one who disobeys his parents, the one who is addicted to wine (or intoxicants), and the one who gives charity to the poor and thereafter reminds them of his favour upon them.” (Mustadrak Haakim #7235) In this hadith, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam has cautioned us regarding three types of evil deeds that will be the cause of one suffering difficulty in the Hereafter. *The first is the sin of disobeying one’s parents:* Provided one’s parents are not requesting one to do something which is impermissible, one should go out of his way to please them and be obedient to them at all times. However, if they request one to do something which will be displeasing to Allah Ta‘ala (e.g. attending a mixed function), then one should refuse. N...

The Happiest Woman in the World* *(A Treasure Chest of Reminders)* *Part 10 of 8* *A HERO WOMAN*

﷽ *The Happiest Woman in the World* *(A Treasure Chest of Reminders)* *Part 10 of 8* *A HERO WOMAN* "... And do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance..." [Qur'an 33:33] The caliph 'Uthmān ibn Affān (may Allāh be pleased with him) appointed Habīb ibn Maslamah al-Fihri to lead a Muslim army against the Byzantines, who had provoked the Muslims. The wife of Habīb was also a soldier in this army. Before the battle began, Habīb started checking on his army, and his wife came and asked him: "Where will we meet when the fighting becomes intense and the ranks of the army are moving like waves?" He replied: "You will find me either in the tent of the Byzantines commander, or in Paradise." The fighting grew intense and Habīb and his companions fought bravely as never before. Allāh granted them victory over the Byzantines, and Habīb rushed to the tent of the Byzantine commander to wait for his wife. When he reached the door of...
