*Episode 8: Tooth Medicine*

One day a very well-dressed stranger went to a restaurant in town.

He told the waiter:

"I would like some well-done roast beef and some salad, please."

As soon as he bit his first piece, he screamed with pain: "Ahhhh! My tooth is hurting again!" Another stranger approached, holding a large bag in his hand. He took a small bottle from his bag. He poured some liquid onto a piece of cotton and handed it to the man in pain.

"Swipe this cotton on your aching tooth," he said.

The man did as he was told. Suddenly, he exclaimed:

"Strange! I don't feel the pain anymore!"

Everyone gathered around the man with the large bag asking to buy that wonderful drug. The bottles in his bag were soon sold out.

An hour later, the man with the toothache and the man with the bag met at the railway station. They discussed how profitable their business had been in that town and congratulated one another. They sat and waited for the next train.

Just then two policemen came and arrested them.

One of the people who had bought the fake medicine had gone to the police station when the medicine hadn't stopped his toothache.

The police chief called the two men into his office and asked them:

"What is your religion? Are you Muslim?" Without raising their heads, they said: "We are Muslims, Alhamdulillah." The police chief got even angrier. Have you not heard the Hadīth Of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and Peace of Allāh be upon him)? Where he says:

من غشنا فليس منا

رواه مسلم

*"Whoever deceives us is not one of us."*

*[Muslim]*

Then he punished the men.

Source of the Hadīth: Muslim, Kitāb al-Imān, Hadīth Number 164.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today?

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

PURIFICATION OF THE HEART

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. We must purify our hearts from spiritual sins such as greed, malice, envy, arrog...
