بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم

Think of Ramadan as a 29 or 30-day reward sale, for which you start saving up money before-hand, so that you can spend more to buy yourself as many bonus points as you can. 

Now,

Continuation of the previous episodes - as promised - *How do you prepare your body & soul for this task?*

*Number 6:* Start practicing giving more charity before the month of Ramadan and continue during the month of Ramadan

Before we dive into the above subheading point, it's good to tell ourselves the bitter truth that if our well-to-do Muslims are giving out zakat, no single Muslim especially children and orphans will get himself or herself in a situation of battling with what to eat.

On this,

Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) said, “Whoever is made wealthy by Allah and does not pay the Zakat of his wealth, then on the Day of Resurrection his wealth will be made like a bald-headed poisonous male snake with two black spots over the eyes. The snake will encircle his neck and bite his cheeks and say, *‘I am your wealth, I am your treasure.’* “Then the Prophet recited the verses: — ‘Let not those who withhold...…’ (to the end of the verse). 📚(Q3.180). (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī)

Servants of Allah!

In the world of mathematics, 5-2=3 and one cannot increase what he or she have by giving it away😃. Yes. That’s mathematics. But, in the spiritual world, things work differently.. In the spiritual world, the more you give of what you value, the more your hearafter's savings account swells up😳. Infact , in most cases, the food or clothing you're spending on will not benefit you in this world and your Hearafter like the Sadaqah you will FREQUENTLY squeeze out resources to give. This why the word "Charity" is mentioned dozens of times in the Quran & authentic Hadith.

This is why,

Anybody who have something little or big in his or her pocket or Bank account in our society today should realise their responsibilities and should hasten to discharge the obligations they owe to the propagation of the religion of Allah (swt), orphans and poorer people in the Islamic community.

It's true that majority of people are economically poor but MANY MORE are more poorer than others.

Sincerely speaking,

Even if you spend all your monthly earnings and refused giving out something reasonable FISSABILILLAH, your financial problems will never come to end in life.

If this is true,

Walk to any market close to you or street, you will see people that - *by looking at them from head to toe, you will feel like shedding tears*😢. Yes. Get one of these people who doesn't know you and you don't know them, give him or her 1k or 2K or more *(if you can)* and walk away.

The Prophet (pbuh) said,

الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمْ الرَّحْمَنُ ارْحَمُوا مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ

“The merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Therefore, be merciful to those on the earth, and the One in the heavens will have mercy upon you.” 📚Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhi‌ 1924
