*Fasting is Knocking*
[[--- Episode Nine ---]]--------------------------------
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet (pbuh) ascended the pulpit and he said, “Amin, amin, amin.” It was said, “O Messenger of Allah, you ascended the pulpit and said amin, amin, amin.” The Prophet said, *“Verily, Gabriel came to me and he said: Whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and he or she did not do acts of worship to gain Allah's forgiveness, then he or she will enter Hellfire and Allah will cast him or her far away, so say amin. I said amin....."* 📚Source: Sahih Ibn Hibban 915 - Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani
Muslim Faithful!
The reality of life is - *"We are not ONE but TWO."*…. I don’t mean we aren’t ONE as an Ummah, that we are. Yes. I meant that each one of us is NOT just made of a human body. In fact, the human body is only the vessel. The Vessel carrying the Soul. So, that means that, each one of us is, in reality, the caretaker of 2 things: 1️⃣The Human Body and 2️⃣ The Soul.. And this should be an eye-opener for all Muslims preparing for Ramadan this year.
Servants of Allah!
What many of us do before Ramadan is preparing our body. What we do not do, is preparing our Souls for the challenges and blessings that come our way with Ramadan.
We must bear in mind that,
The Companions of the Prophet (pbuh) used to prepare their body & soul for Ramadan six (06) months in advance😳. Yes. So, if we really want to make the best of this Ramadan, then, we need to prepare for it now!.. As we know, fasting is more than just abstaining from food. Fasting pushes us to be cognizant of our actions, to be patient and to be moral individuals, thereby increasing our taqwa (God-consciousness).
Now,
*What are the challenges that our BODY has to face?*
On normal days, we eat 3X three meals or more and sleep all night, *"especially Mr 🅰️ & Mrs/Miss 🅱️ who doesn't have Tahajjud in their dictionary, bcos shaytan have deceived them that waking up at night EVERYDAY for Tahajjud is not compulsory*😄.
In Ramadan, our daily routine becomes topsy-turvy. Yes. We start fasting which means that the time period between our meals increases and our body experiences hunger and thirst. We also start praying Taraweeh & tahajjud and doing Qiyyam, which means that we can’t sleep all night.. Although, some of my brothers and sisters don't bloody care about Taraweeh or Tahajjud even inside Ramadan🤭.. These are some of the major changes that our BODY has to face.
*What are the challenges that our SOUL has to face?*
In sural - Al-Baqarah 2:183, Allah (swt) say.......
*Share this very write-up to remind others*
