 The importance of tawheed.

Alhamdulillah, tawheed means oneness of Allah or monotheism.

The message of tawheed is the message of all the prophets.

Allah says,

And verily we have sent every nation a prophet,commanding them to worship Allah and to avoid from taghuth(polytheism)

Surah Nahl 16;36.

And tawheed is to put all our lives to Allah.

Say verily my prayers, my sacrifice and my life and death is for Allah, the lord of the worlds.

Surah An'aam.

To worship Allah and seek help only from him.

Allah says to the prophet in surah fatiha to say,

Thee do we worship and thee do we seek for help.

Seeking help is not done to a grave or a waliyy or a shaykh or a grave but to Allah alone.

Wearing of amulets and rings and charms is all forbidden in Islam

The messenger of Allah peace be upon him forbade tiyaarah which is putting our trust to something.

As reported in hadith,

Jabir reported Allal's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

There is no transitive disease, no ill omen, no ghoul. Note: The majority of scholars interpret this to mean thatthese things in and of themselves do not transmit or cause harm through supernatural or hidden means but that Allah is ultimately in control and any fearful superstition around these is false.

Sahih Muslim 2222.

The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: There is no infection* and no evil omen, and I like a good omen. Sunan Abi Dawud 3916.
