About Khadeejah* [[----- Part 5-of-7 -----]]

*About Khadeejah* [[----- Part 5-of-7 -----]] --------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم When Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) reported his first revelation, Nana Khadija became the first person to convert to Islam and was always supportive of her husband’s prophetic mission. She also invested much of the money she had accumulated from her trading endeavours in the mission. Her wealth allowed her husband the leisure to meditate - providing the ransom for Muslim slaves and feeding the Muslim community. *Lessons:* It's an act of worship wives helping their husband in anyway (except in ways of disobeying Allah - (swt) Abu Sa’id (r.a.) narrated that ‘Zainab the wife of Ibn Mas’ud came along and said to the Prophet “O Messenger of Allah (PBUH) You have commanded us today to give Sadaqah (charity). I have some jewellery of mine and I wanted to give it as Sadaqah, but Ibn Mas’ud claims that he and his children are the most entitled to my Sadaqah. (Deserve it more than anyone else.)’...

The riba and why islam forbade it.

The riba and why islam forbade it.  Alhamdulillah, Riba means increase.  Allah says in Quran,  Aal-e-Imran 3:130 O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allāh that you may be successful. Allah says,  Al-Baqarah 2:275. Those who consume interest[1] cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, "Trade is [just] like interest." But Allāh has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allāh. But whoever returns [to dealing in interest or usury] - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein. Allah says,  Al-Baqarah 2:276 Allāh destroys interest and gives increase for charities. And Allāh does not like every sinning disbeliever. Anyone who does not give up riba is like fighting against Allah and hi...

The baytul ma'mur and what is it.

The baytul ma'mur and what is it.  Alhamdulillah,  Allah says in Quran,  At-Tur 52:4 وَٱلْبَيْتِ ٱلْمَعْمُورِ  And [by] the frequented House[1] As reported in Hadith,  Narrated Malik bin Sasaa; In the long hadith,  Where it says,  Then I was shown Al-Bait-al-Ma'mur (i.e. Allah's House). I asked Gabriel about it and he said, This is Al Bait-ul-Ma'mur where 70,000 angels performprayers daily and when they leave they never return to it (but always a fresh batch comes into it daily).'  Sahih al-Bukhari 3207. This house each day is a place where angels meet and worship and the next day, a new batch of angels descend and worship there.  As reported again,  Then I was taken up to the Oft-Frequented House (Al-Bait al-Ma'mur) and I asked Jibra'il about it, and he said: 'This is Al-Bait al-Ma'mur inwhich seventy thousand angels pray everyday, and when they leave it they never come back.' Then I was taken up to Sidrah Al-Muntaha (the Lote-Tre...

APPRECIATE THE LITTLE YOU HAVE IF YOU WANT MORE FROM ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 17th day of Swafar, 1446AH (Wednesday, 21st August 2024). *_APPRECIATE THE LITTLE YOU HAVE IF YOU WANT MORE FROM ALLAH_*. Bismillah. Our Life as Muslims is a gift from ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and the Majestic). We can only polish it with obedience to ALLAH or corrupt it with disobedience. Today, before you say an unkind word, think of someone who can't speak, then say Alhamdulillah. Before you complain about the taste of your food to your wife, etc, think of someone who has nothing to eat, then say Alhamdulillah. Before you complain about your husband or wife, think of someone who's crying out to ALLAH for a companion, then say Alhamdulillah. Before you complain about life, think of someone who died younger than you, healthier than you, wealthier than you, etc, then say Alhamdulillah. Before you complain about your children, think of someone who desires children but they're barren. And when you are tired and complain about yo...

About Khadeejah* [[----- Part 4-of-7 -----]]

*About Khadeejah* [[----- Part 4-of-7 -----]] --------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم One of Nana Khadija’s servants, Maysarah, had accompanied Muhammad on his journey and relayed to Nana Khadija that during their return, Muhammad had stopped to rest under a tree that: "none but a prophet ever sat beneath”. He also claimed to have seen two angels standing near Muhammad as he slept, protecting him from the sun. This indicated that Muhammad was the prophet of the people who was already expected. Knowing this, Nana Khadija considered proposing marriage to her agent. The couple was married monogamously for twenty-five years. *Lessons:* It's permissible for a woman to propose to a man It is permissible for a woman to propose marriage to a man but it is not always necessarily advised considering the ways some men are treating their wives today. Yes. This is the person who proposed marriage to woman and treating her badly, what about if she's the one who propose...

The hadith to reflect.

The hadith to reflect.  Narrated Abu Musa: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) many times say: When a servant of Allah is accustomed to do a good work, then becomes ill or goes on journey, what was accustomed to do when he was well and staying at home will be recorded for him. Sunan Abi Dawud 3091. So if a person is sick and used to go to fajr prayer, then he became ill and cannot go, he will be recorded as if he has prayed with the congregation. This is the mercy Allah has bestowed upon a person. In another hadith, Abdullah ibn Umar r.a said, It is narrated by Abdullah bin Amr that Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When a person falls ill then the reward of those deeds is also recorded for him which he used to perform when he was healthy. Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 500. May Allah guides and protects us and show us the right path and make us die as Muslims. Aamiin

The dignity of making istighfar.

The dignity of making istighfar.  Alhamdulillah, Istighfar is part of the character of a believer.  Allah says,  Adh-Dhariyat 51:17 They used to sleep but little of the night,[1] Adh-Dhariyat 51:18 And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness, Allah says when Nuh AS said to his people,  Nuh 71:10 فَقُلْتُ ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارًا And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. The messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam used to seek forgiveness of Allah for seventy times a day and sometimes hundred times a day As reported in hadith,  Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying." By Allah! I ask for forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day."" Sahih al-Bukhari 6307. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: "By Allah, I seek Allah's forgiveness and repent to Him more than ...

Never feel it is too late to repent to Allah.

The story to reflect.  Never feel it is too late to repent to Allah.  There once lived a bandit and a robber who was well known in baghdad and used to block travellers and take their wealth.  Every traveller who use to path the route to baghdad is told of this bandit and robber.  He took a lot of resources from people at night with his gangs.  This continues all night and this man was a muslim but never had time to pray and change  One-day he decided to enter into a house of a man to steal and as he climbed the wall, he entered and saw the man reciting night prayers.  He observed as the man recited an ayah of Quran that touched his heart.  The ayah was,  Al-Hadid 57:16 Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allāh and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so ...

The nullifiers of Islam.

The nullifiers of Islam.  Alhamdulillah, Nullifiers of Islam means the things that take us out of islam. An Nawaaqi'ul Al Islam is into various forms.  The first thing that takes us out of Islam is Shirk.  Shirk means associating partners with Allah s.w.t. Allah says,  An-Nisa' 4:48 Indeed, Allāh does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allāh has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin. Shirk is something when one dies will never enter Jannah.  As Jesus a.s said to his disciples,  Al-Ma'idah 5:72 They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allāh is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allāh, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allāh - Allāh has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers. Worshipping of the grave.  Calling a prop...

Man and hasteness.

Man and hasteness.  Alhamdulillah, Man wants hasteness is everything.  As Allah says in Quran,  Al-Isra' 17:11 وَيَدْعُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ بِٱلشَّرِّ دُعَآءَهُۥ بِٱلْخَيْرِۖ وَكَانَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ عَجُولًا  And man supplicates for evil [when angry] as he supplicates for good, and man is ever hasty.[1] This ayah was revealed when the messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam came to the people of Makkah with his message of tawheed and to amend and change to good peoples but they call for the punishment of Allah to come soon upon them. Allah says, Yunus 10:11 And if Allāh was to hasten for the people the evil [they invoke][1] as He hastens for them the good, their term would have been ended for them.[2] But We leave the ones who do not expect the meeting with Us, in their transgression, wandering blindly. As reported in hadith, Abu Musa al-Ash’ari (RAA) narrated, “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to supplicate, “O Allah, forgive me my faults, my ignorance, my immodera...

FORGET ABOUT LIFE INSURANCE AND ACCEPT ALLAH'S LIFE ASSURANCE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 15th day of Swafar, 1446AH (Monday, 19th August 2024). *_FORGET ABOUT LIFE INSURANCE AND ACCEPT ALLAH'S LIFE ASSURANCE_*. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 41:30-31 Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is ALLAH" and then remained on a right course (means, they do good deeds sincerely for the sake of ALLAH, and they obey ALLAH, doing what ALLAH has prescribed for them), the angels will descend upon them (at the moment of death), [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised. Verse 31: We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish]. Meaning: We have been your friends, i.e., your close companions, in this world, protecting you and helping you by the command of ALLAH, and we will be with you in the Hereafter, keeping you from feeli...

*About Khadeejah* [[----- Part 3-of-7 -----]] --------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Nana Khadija (r.a.) did not travel with her trade caravans. Instead, she employed agents who would trade on her behalf for a commission. Now, *Lessons from the Above:* It's Not Prohibited For Women Leaving Their Houses For Good Reasons (Business or Office Work, etc) Islamically, it's a condition  that women leaving their homes for genuine reasons should not only display their adornment to non maharam men BUT should also observe "Hijab of the eyes". What is Hijab of the Eyes? Hijab of eyes is a particular way of being decent within Islamic precepts.. Both men and women are expected to keep their gazes downcast unless it is allowed.. Men are expected to do this to avoid lustful thoughts when looking at any woman who is not their wife.. Women are expected to keep their gaze downcast as a way of protecting themselves. Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) said: ...

Lets always be dependant upon Allah always

The story to reflect.  Lets always be dependant upon Allah always  Alhamdulillah, there once lived a young man who was a merchant and use to sell in the village.  Each day, he will go to the market and will get alot of sales and money.  One-day, he went to the market and sat there for many hours but no one came and brought anything from him.  He felt sad and unhappy and decided to close his shop and go home.  Thereupon he was there so sad as that day he is in need of money for his family.  He saw a rich man passing by and wish he had begged for something but he said i have to endure and depend on Allah. His provision is best.  He sat again looking here and there and there upon, a man came and said i have come to buy everything from the shop.  He was so surprised and amazed and send everything? Alas!  Thereupon, the man removed everything and sold it out and the buyer said to him,  I was looking for a place to buy these items b...

The brotherhood of islam and the love of the companions among themselves.

The brotherhood of islam and the love of the companions among themselves.  Alhamdulillah, The love the sahaba had among themselves is something beyond our mind and they loved one another more than a mother could love her child.  The messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam built love among the Muhajiruun and the Ansar together and bond them like no other one else.  As Allah says,  Aal-e-Imran 3:159 So by mercy from Allāh, [O Muḥammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allāh. Indeed, Allāh loves those who rely [upon Him]. Allah says,  Al-Hujurat 49:10 The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allāh that you may receive mercy. As reported in hadith of something the sahaba did beyond our minds Narrated Sa...
