DEALING WITH A DIFFICULT WIFE WHILE SEEKING THE PLEASURE OF ALLAH AZZAWAJAL

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaum al-ithnayn | 14th day of Muharram, 1448 AH | Monday, 29th June, 2026. *_DEALING WITH A DIFFICULT WIFE WHILE SEEKING THE PLEASURE OF ALLAH AZZAWAJAL_*. BismilLah.  Every marriage goes through periods of ease and difficulty. A husband may at times find his wife difficult due to disagreements, emotional challenges, misunderstandings, or differences in personality, financial issues etc. During such moments, the believer should remember that his true objective is not to "win" every argument, but to earn the pleasure of ALLAH Azzawajal. A Muslim husband is a shepherd over his family and will be questioned by ALLAH Azzawajal regarding how he fulfilled that trust. ALLAH Azzawajal says: "Live with them in kindness. If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike something while ALLAH has placed much good in it." Qur'an 4:19. This noble verse reminds husbands that temporary frustration should never lead to injustice or oppression. What app...

BUILDING A MARRIAGE THAT LASTS

FAJR REMINDER: BUILDING A MARRIAGE THAT LASTS By: Umm Affān Muḥarram 14, 1448 (29-June-2026) Marriage, as ordained by Allāh, is meant to be a source of peace, affection, and mercy. It is a relationship in which both husband and wife find comfort, protection, and tranquillity in one another. Allāh says: “They (spouse) are Libās (i.e. garment) for you and you are the same for them.” [Sūrah Al-Baqarah (2): 187] Imām al-Qurṭubī (Raḥimahullāh) commented: “Allāh used the following words to describe marriage as the same as wearing one's clothes to protect oneself from the cold and heat; similarly marriage is a means of safeguarding oneself from sins. Also, marriage provides peace and tranquillity to the heart and there is a physical bond between the husband and wife the same way one's clothes are closely attached to a person.” [Tafsīr al-Qurṭubī (2/209)] By the Grace of Allāh, I dedicate this morning's FAJR REMINDER to every married couple, especially those who have recently begu...

DEALING WITH A DIFFICULT HUSBAND WHILE SEEKING THE PLEASURE OF ALLAH AZZAWAJAL

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaumul ahad | 13th day of Muharram, 1448 AH | Sunday, 28th June, 2026. *_DEALING WITH A DIFFICULT HUSBAND WHILE SEEKING THE PLEASURE OF ALLAH AZZAWAJAL_*. BismilLah.  To my dear sisters in Islaam, always remember that Marriage is a test from ALLAH Azzawajal for both the husband and the wife. Sometimes a wife may find herself married to a husband who is difficult, harsh, neglectful, or lacking in good manners. At such times, Shayṭān seeks to create hatred, anger, and disobedience. The believing wife should remember that her ultimate goal is not merely pleasing her husband, but pleasing ALLAH Azzawajal. ALLAH Azzawajal says: "Live with them in kindness." (Qur'an 4:19). This command is directed to husbands, reminding them to treat their wives well. However, when a husband falls short, a believing wife should not respond by falling short in her own duties before ALLAH Azzawajal. ALLAH Azzawajal also says: "...Indeed, ALLAH is with those who fe...

THE FIVE DAILY PRECIOUS APPOINTMENTS

FAJR REMINDER: THE FIVE DAILY PRECIOUS APPOINTMENTS By: Umm Affān Muḥarram 13, 1448 (28-June-2026) Have you ever paused to ask yourself why we observe Ṣalāh (prayer)? Many people would naturally reply, “Because Allāh commanded us to pray.” While that answer is true, it only scratches the surface. There is a deeper wisdom behind the five daily prayers. Why did Allāh prescribe them at specific times throughout the day? To understand this, we must first realize that Ṣalāh is not a burden imposed on us because Allāh needs our worship. He is completely free of all needs. Rather, we are the ones in need of the prayers. Ṣalāh is one of the greatest gifts Allāh has bestowed upon His servants. Out of His Mercy and Love, He did not leave us to wander through the day without constantly reconnecting with Him. Just as our bodies require food and drink to survive, our souls require spiritual nourishment. Prayer cleanses the heart repeatedly, washing away the stains of worldly distractions, anxi...

Look 4 the Lesson

Look 4 the Lesson ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم When you hear about Prophet Zakariyyah or Prophet Musa (A.S), don't just listen. Look at your own life. Yes. Their stories are not old tales. They are Allah's way of teaching you how to live today. Here is how. Sometimes, things don't go your way. You feel sad. This is where your test begins. Look at Prophet Zakariyyah (A.S). He wanted a child. He prayed for a child for so, so long. But did he stopped making Du'a? No! He never gave up on Allah. And when Allah finally said "yes," Allah (swt) did not give him just anyhow child. HE gave him - Yahya (A.S) —a noble Prophet for that matter. The long, painful "delay" was actually Allah preparing a perfect "long-lasting joy." To prove this, Allah (swt) Himself said about Zakariyyah's son in the Quran: *"And affection from Us and purity, and he was fearing of Allah."* 📚(Maryam 19:13)... After all that waiting, Allah (swt) g...

TIE YOUR CAMEL AND TRUST IN ALLĀH

FAJR REMINDER: TIE YOUR CAMEL AND TRUST IN ALLĀH By: Umm Affān Muḥarram 12, 1448 (27-June-2026)   When Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) set out on his migration from Makkah to Madīnah, he demonstrated the importance of careful planning and making use of available means. Since he had never travelled the route before, he hired a highly skilled guide, ‘Abdullāh Ibn Urayqit, who had not yet accepted Islām. Despite his disbelief at the time, he was chosen because of his honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and exceptional knowledge of the hidden desert routes. It is worth reflecting on the fact that Allāh had the power to make the journey effortless for His Messenger. He could have sent Angel Jibrīl (‘Alaykum Salām) to guide him directly or inspired him with the exact route to Madīnah. Yet, Allāh chose not to do so. Instead, He taught His Prophet (ﷺ) and the Ummah that genuine reliance upon Him does not eliminate the need for human effort. We are expected to take the necessary steps while p...

BismilLah.  Let's conclude with our studies of this beautiful suurah At-Takwīr: Verses 26–29 فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ ۝٢٦ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَالَمِينَ ۝٢٧ لِمَن شَاءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَسْتَقِيمَ ۝٢٨ وَمَا تَشَاءُونَ إِلَّا أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ ۝٢٩ 26. "So where are you going?" 27. "It is nothing but a reminder to all the worlds," 28. "For whoever among you wishes to take the straight path." 29. "But you cannot will unless ALLAH, the Lord of all the worlds, wills." Commentary: These concluding verses summarize the central message of the suurah. After establishing the certainty of the Day of Judgment, affirming the truthfulness of the Prophet ﷺ, and confirming that the Qur'an is a revelation from ALLAH Azzawajal, the listener is left with a powerful question: Ve...

Khalid's Journey

*Khalid's Journey* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Every single day, we fight sleep, fight tiredness. We do it for an appointment with someone - maybe for a job, a flight or for business. We do this even with a headache, fever, and even when our body begs for rest. We do not complain. Why? Because that appointment is important to us. Now, Answer this: What is more important than an appointment with the King of all Kings? The Owner of the Heavens and the Earth? Let me tell you a true story about a man who understood this. Seven years ago, A man called Khalid travelled to a village far from the city. In the night, a very big scorpion stung him. The pain was terrible. There was no hospital. No doctor. He had to find herbal medicine in another village. That night, the pain was so strong he could not sleep. His body was on fire. But when the time for Tahajjud came, he moved. He made dry ablution. He could not stand, so he sat down. In great pain, he prayed two rakaats. He ma...

Pocket Money

*Pocket Money* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Allah (swt) did not design it that HIS Angels from the sky should descend to do the jobs of masjid maintenance meant for human beings. In Surah At-Taubah, chapter 9 verse 18, Allah (swt) say: إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ "The mosques of Allāh are MAINTAINED by those who believe in Allāh and the Last Day..." 📚At-Taubah 9:18 My People, It's popularly said *"Action Speak Louder than Words"* . And the Qur'an verse above have proven to us that, without taking care of our Masjid (by giving FISSABILILLAHI), our verbal expression of believing in Allah and the last day will have no basis. Now, The day of Friday is also called: ‘Yawmul Mazid’; the day of extras/increases. 📚(Refer: Zadul Ma’ad, vol. 1 pg.397 and Fathul Bari, before Hadith: 876) Fridays, is a special day for shopping for your Hearafter which begin immediately you are placed in your grave. BETWEEN ONE PRAYER AND THE NEXT

FAJR REMINDER: BETWEEN ONE PRAYER AND THE NEXT By: Umm Affān Muḥarram 11, 1448 (26-June-2026) Death has been decreed for every soul, and only Allāh knows which Ṣalāh will be the last a servant performs before returning to Him. Without a doubt, one of the five daily Ṣalawāt will be your final prayer. Your death will come between one prayer and the next. Likewise, it will certainly occur between one Jumu'ah and the next. What about you? Which prayer will be your last? None of us knows. So, how should we prepare for death when we are certain that it will arrive between one of two prayers? Dear brethren! One of the finest ways to prepare is to perform each prayer with a sincere intention and eagerness to perform the next one. Abū Umāmah reported: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said, “Prayer followed by another prayer, without any vain talk in between, is written in the heavenly record.” (83:18) [Sunan Abī Dāwūd 1288] Reflect on this for a moment. You pray Fajr with the intention of per...

BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of this beautiful suurah At-Takwīr: Verses 22–25: COVERS THE TRUTHFULNESS OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM: وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجْنُونٍ ۝٢٢ وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ بِالْأُفُقِ الْمُبِينِ ۝٢٣ وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍ ۝٢٤ وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ ۝٢٥ 22. "And your companion is not mad." 23. "And indeed he saw him on the clear horizon." 24. "And he is not withholding knowledge of the unseen." 25. "And it is not the word of an accursed devil." Commentary:  These verses continue ALLAH’S defence of HIS Messenger ﷺ against the false accusations of the Quraysh. The disbelievers claimed that Muhammad ﷺ was a poet, a sorcerer, a fortune-teller, or even possessed by jinn. ALLAH Azzawajal refutes each of these claims and es...

ONLY ALLĀH KNOWS THE GHAYB

FAJR REMINDER: ONLY ALLĀH KNOWS THE GHAYB By: Umm Affān Muḥarram 10, 1448 (25-June-2026) Dear brethren! We must firmly believe that the knowledge of the Ghayb (the unseen and hidden matters) belongs to Allāh alone. No one shares with Him in this exclusive attribute. Yet, it is unfortunate that some people claim knowledge of what is hidden, thereby competing with what belongs solely to Allāh. These are the soothsayers, fortunetellers, and others who present themselves as religious figures, spiritual leaders, or herbalists. They claim to possess knowledge of unseen matters and employ various methods such as drawing lines in the sand, reading palms, casting sea-shells, and similar practices. Such individuals prey upon the ignorance and vulnerability of people, exploiting them for financial gain. Some may argue, “But, sometimes, what they say comes true.” Indeed, this may occur occasionally. However, this does not validate their claims. They remain liars who cooperate with the Shayāṭī...

"Indeed, this is truly the word conveyed by a noble Messenger;" 20. "Possessing great strength and having high rank with the Lord of the Throne;" 21. "Obeyed there (among the Angels) and trustworthy." Commentary:  These 3 verses are a direct response to the accusations of the disbelievers of Makkah at the time of Revelation who claimed that the Qur'an was poetry, magic, or the speech of a madman. ALLAH Azzawajal clarifies that the Qur'an is a revelation from HIM, conveyed to the Prophet ﷺ through the Angel Jibreel (عليه السلام). ...
