PURIFICATION OF OUR HEARTS

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 23rd day of Dhul Qaādah (Friday 26th July, 2019).
*_PURIFICATION OF OUR HEARTS_*. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) was asked: “Who are the best type of people?” He replied: “A person who is truthful in his speech and Makhmoom in his heart.” the companions asked: “We know what is truthful speech, but what is a Makhmoom heart?” He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) responded: “It is a pure pious heart that does not have envy, evil or spite.” [Ibn Maajah]. Now let's consider this short story to understand our reminder this morning:
A teacher once told each child in her troublesome class to bring a plastic bag and some potatoes. Each child should put in their bag as many potatoes as the number of people they hated. Some brought two potatoes in a bag, some three and some up to five. The teacher then told the children to keep their potato containing plastic bags by their sides for a full week, carrying them with them wherever they went.

The days passed and the children began to complain as the potatoes started to rot and smell. Besides, those with more potatoes also had heavier bags to carry. The children were relieved when the week was over. Then the teacher told them the lesson they were to learn from this exercise. She said:

“This is what your situation is when you harbour grudges, envy or spite inside your heart. The stunch of their evil goes with you wherever you go. Even if you can’t smell it anymore because you’ve gotten used to it, others you come in contact with will smell it, dislike it and want to stay away.” Get use to your bad relatives, friends and loved ones and use your actions to get them out of their mess instead of hating them.
Remember today is Friday so please remember to recite suratul Kahf that's Quran chapter 18, perform ghusul, recite  more Zikir especially Salaat Alan Nabi.

*_May ALLAH have mercy on us and forgive our sins_*. *_May ALLAH aid us to forgive those who have wrong us and those we've wronged_*. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

Friday and it's dignity.

Friday and it's dignity. O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. Friday is the best day of the week because it was the day Adam was created, the day he entered paradise and the day he was removed from paradise. it was also the day he died and the hour(qiyaamah) will not come except on this day. Sahih. It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever washes (ghassala) and performs ghusl, comes early to the masjid and sits near the imam and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and...

The story of taqwa

The story of taqwa. Taqwa means fear of Allah. There once lived a young woman who was very beautiful lady and had all the qualities a man needed. She was well covered and oneday ,she was attacked with her families. This woman was taken away and brought to a man who was the bandits leader. As she was brought, the man wanted to sleep with her as she was so sad and in pain. As she undressed and coming to her, she said fear Allah and know death can come to you now. If you have a mother or sister like me, don't disgrace and destroy my honor for I won't forgive you  The leader immediately remembered he had a sister he loved a lot and so he quickly stopped and dressed and said to the lady, you can go.
