SHOWING OFF IN WORSHIP

*_SHOWING OFF IN WORSHIP_*. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

Whoever does any act of worship for the sake of ALLAAH and other people, his deeds will be unacceptable, as is stated in the hadeeth qudsi: ALLAH says “I am so self-sufficient that I am in no need of having an associate. Thus he who does a deed for someone else’s sake as well as MINE will have that deed renounced by ME to him who he associated with ME.” (Reported by Muslim, no. 2985).

It may happen that a person starts to do a deed for the sake of ALLAAH, then the urge to show off comes over him. If he resists that impulse his deed will still be acceptable, but if he submits willingly to it, then in the opinion of most of the scholars his deed will be unacceptable. *_May ALLAH protect us from any satanic influences_*. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. ﷽ ➖➖➖ *IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE* ➖➖➖ *An obligation upon every Muslim* ➖➖➖ Allah ﷻ says *وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ الأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا* _And He taught Adam all the names of everything_ Meaning, the names that people use, such as human, animal, sky, earth, land, sea, horse, donkey, and so forth, including the names of the other species" *ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلَـئِكَةِ* _Then He showed them to the angels_ Meaning, the creations.
