*Reasons To Let Go*
[[---------Part 3---------]]بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
When we are in so much anger, we often think too much. Spending time overthinking causes so much energy. And sometimes when we can’t forgive others, we keep grudges inside our heart. It’s not good as it will eventually affect our productivity. It’s better to exhale the negativity like stress and worry by forgiving.
Servants of Allah!
When we already forgive others who hurt or offend us sincerely, we spread the happiness and our mind will not be occupied with so much stress and worry
Now,
Continuation of the previous episodes - as promised
*Reason Number 3:*
We Forgive to Deserve Mercy Upon Us. Yes. We all know the Prophet’s (pbuh) famous saying:
*“Have mercy on those on the earth, and the One in heaven will have mercy on you”* 📚 [Tirmidhi]
It’s true that we can’t compare the greatness of Allah. Forgiving is a very good deed that reflects our mercy. When we forgive others who hurt or offend us, we sometimes don’t realize that we also spread mercy to others. It’s proven by the saying of Prophet’s (pbuh) that when we have mercy on others, we’ll have mercy upon us. And believe it, Allah will multiply the mercy for us as Allah is very very merciful.
Muslim Faithful!
We can’t change people, and we certainly cannot change everyone overnight. But we can at least change our own selves, and the way we think and behave, to better deal with unfortunate situations that could come up in our lives. Yes. We’ve actually been taught the best example to deal with almost all sorts of situations through the life of our Noble Messenger (pbuh), but oftentimes, we don’t apply these teachings.
In Reality,
There will be situations in life that will make you angry or impatient, but Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) taught us that true strength is when you can overcome your anger.
We need to take this a step further by consciously forgiving someone, even when they may not necessarily deserve it. Yes. Being able to forgive and let go increases mental well-being and prevents negativity and resentment from harboring within the heart.
