So remember that the measuring stick when we do self-critique is in accordance to the Akhirah, not the Dunya, not the amount of praises we receive nor the amount of likes and followers we gain on the social media. It’s super easy to be deluded by praises and number of ‘likes’. It’s super easy to forget our flaws when people attest our good qualities_
*Don’t be deluded by Fame and Praises*
*Hold yourself accountable before you are held accountable,*
*weigh yourselves before you are weighed*
*and be prepared for the biggest gathering before He Whose Knowledge encompasses your deeds.”*..Hazrat Umar R.A.

[2:94] Al-Baqarah-الْبَقَرَة
"قُلۡ  اِنۡ کَانَتۡ لَکُمُ الدَّارُ الۡاٰخِرَۃُ عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ خَالِصَۃً مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا الۡمَوۡتَ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِیۡنَ ﴿۹۴﴾

Say: ‘If in the sight of Allah the dwelling in the Hereafter is reserved for you alone, and not for others, then long for death (without any fear) if (you presume) you are truthful.’

Allah ﷻ says if the abode of the Hereafter is really for the Children of Israel as they claim then 👉what are they doing in this world?
*They should ask for death and go enjoy the pleasures (as they claim) that await them.*
The Jews had corrupted their belief about the Hereafter. They believed they are the chosen people; they are the children of the prophets; they are the children of Allah (we seek refuge with Allah from uttering such a statement). and because of this, they believed, they will definitely be entering Paradise. Allah ﷻ responds to their false claim:

*If the home of the Hereafter is especially for you then you should long for death.*
He adds, *“But they will never wish for it ever, because of what their hands have put forth.”*
👉They will never ask for death because they know what their deeds were.
They have defied and denied the prophets.
They have altered the Torah according to their liking. They refused to accept Muhammad ﷺ while acknowledging history description matches with the Torah.
*They were called to invoke Allah ﷻ to destroy the lying group, be it them or the Muslims.*

▪ When the Jews declined, everyone was sure of their wrong, for had they been sure of their claims, then they would have accepted the proposal.
▪ Their lies were thus exposed after they declined the offer to invoke the curse. They refused to accept Muhammad ﷺ while acknowledging history description matches with the Torah.
*They were called to invoke Allah ﷻ to destroy the lying group, be it them or the Muslims.*

"اَلۡیَوۡمَ نَخۡتِمُ عَلٰۤی اَفۡوَاہِہِمۡ وَ تُکَلِّمُنَاۤ اَیۡدِیۡہِمۡ وَ تَشۡہَدُ اَرۡجُلُہُمۡ بِمَا کَانُوۡا یَکۡسِبُوۡنَ  ﴿۶۵﴾

Today We shall seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to the deeds which they used to earn.                           [24:24] Al-Nūr-النُّوْر
"یَّوۡمَ  تَشۡہَدُ عَلَیۡہِمۡ اَلۡسِنَتُہُمۡ وَ اَیۡدِیۡہِمۡ  وَ  اَرۡجُلُہُمۡ  بِمَا  کَانُوۡا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ  ﴿۲۴﴾

On the Day when their (own) tongues and their hands and their feet will bear witness against them for whatever they used to do,

[32:20] Al-Sajdah-السَّجْدَة
"وَ اَمَّا الَّذِیۡنَ فَسَقُوۡا فَمَاۡوٰىہُمُ النَّارُ ؕ کُلَّمَاۤ  اَرَادُوۡۤا اَنۡ یَّخۡرُجُوۡا مِنۡہَاۤ اُعِیۡدُوۡا فِیۡہَا وَ قِیۡلَ لَہُمۡ ذُوۡقُوۡا عَذَابَ النَّارِ الَّذِیۡ  کُنۡتُمۡ بِہٖ تُکَذِّبُوۡنَ ﴿۲۰﴾

But as for those who disobeyed, their abode is Hell. Every time they will intend to get out of it and escape, they will be turned back into it and it will be said to them: ‘Keep enjoying the taste of this Fire of Hell which you used to belie.’

This will be the state of the disbelievers and hypocrites on the Day of Resurrection, when they deny the sins they committed in this world and swear that they did not do that. Then Allah will seal their mouths and cause their limbs to speak about what they did.  will Allah Almighty command: Well, stop your babbling. Just see what your own limbs say about your misdeeds. In this connection, here only the evidence to be given by the hands and the feet has been mentioned. But at other places it has been said that their eyes and their ears and their tongues, and the very skins of their body, will tell how they had been employed in the world.
