*Let's start on a tafsir on these verses*👇.                                       [36:45] Yāsīn-يٰس
"وَ اِذَا قِیۡلَ لَہُمُ اتَّقُوۡا مَا بَیۡنَ اَیۡدِیۡکُمۡ وَ مَا خَلۡفَکُمۡ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تُرۡحَمُوۡنَ ﴿۴۵﴾

And (recall) when it is said to them: ‘Fear that (torment) which is before you and which is behind you so that you may be shown mercy.’                                
[36:46] Yāsīn-يٰس
"وَ مَا تَاۡتِیۡہِمۡ مِّنۡ اٰیَۃٍ  مِّنۡ اٰیٰتِ رَبِّہِمۡ اِلَّا  کَانُوۡا عَنۡہَا مُعۡرِضِیۡنَ ﴿۴۶﴾

And not a sign of the signs of their Lord comes to them but they turn away from it.

[36:47] Yāsīn-يٰس
"وَ اِذَا قِیۡلَ لَہُمۡ  اَنۡفِقُوۡا  مِمَّا رَزَقَکُمُ  اللّٰہُ ۙ قَالَ  الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لِلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اَنُطۡعِمُ مَنۡ لَّوۡ  یَشَآءُ  اللّٰہُ   اَطۡعَمَہٗۤ ٭ۖ اِنۡ اَنۡتُمۡ   اِلَّا  فِیۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِیۡنٍ ﴿۴۷﴾

And when it is said to them: ‘Spend (in the way of Allah) of what Allah has given you,’ the disbelievers say to the believers: ‘Shall we feed that (poor) man whom, if Allah so willed, He would feed (Himself)?’ You are but (caught) in clear error.

Allah tells us how the idolators persisted in their misguidance and in not paying attention to the sins that they had committed in the past or what was to happen to them in the future, on the Day of Resurrection. If you fear such things Allah will have mercy on you and will save you from His punishment.'
▪ The wording implies that they would not respond. Rather that they would turn away and ignore the signs of Tawhid and the truth of the Messengers.

* 36:47 means to show that disbelief has not only blinded their intellect but has destroyed their moral sense, too.
_*They neither have the right thought about Allah nor do they adopt the right attitude towards the people.*_
▪ They react adversely to every admonition, follow a perverse philosophy in respite of every deviation and immorality and have a ready-made pretense for escape from every good.

[9:34] Al-Tawbah-التَّوْبَة
"یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنَّ کَثِیۡرًا مِّنَ الۡاَحۡبَارِ وَ الرُّہۡبَانِ  لَیَاۡکُلُوۡنَ اَمۡوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالۡبَاطِلِ وَ یَصُدُّوۡنَ عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ ؕ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ یَکۡنِزُوۡنَ الذَّہَبَ وَ الۡفِضَّۃَ وَ لَا یُنۡفِقُوۡنَہَا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ ۙ فَبَشِّرۡہُمۡ  بِعَذَابٍ اَلِیۡمٍ ﴿ۙ۳۴﴾

O believers! Indeed, the majority of the priests and monks (of the People of the Book) devour the wealth of people through unfair (means) and hinder from the path of Allah (i.e., fill their safes with people’s money, and hinder it from being spent for the publicity and promotion of the true Din [Religion]). And those who hoard silver and gold and do not spend it in the cause of Allah, warn them of a grievous torment.

[9:35] Al-Tawbah-التَّوْبَة
"یَّوۡمَ یُحۡمٰی عَلَیۡہَا فِیۡ نَارِ جَہَنَّمَ فَتُکۡوٰی بِہَا جِبَاہُہُمۡ وَ جُنُوۡبُہُمۡ وَ ظُہُوۡرُہُمۡ ؕ ہٰذَا مَا  کَنَزۡتُمۡ  لِاَنۡفُسِکُمۡ فَذُوۡقُوۡا  مَا کُنۡتُمۡ  تَکۡنِزُوۡنَ ﴿۳۵﴾

The Day when this (gold, silver and wealth) will be heated in the Fire of Hell, their foreheads, sides and backs will be branded with this (heated material, and it will be said to them:) ‘This is the same (wealth) that you treasured for (the benefit of) your souls. So taste (this wealth) which you had been amassing.’

People rely on their scholars, worshippers and the wealthy among them. When these categories of people become corrupt, the society in general becomes corrupt.
▪ Ibn Al-Mubarak once said, "What corrupted the religion, except kings and wicked Ahbar and Ruhban."
▪"Kanz" is the "wealth on which Zakah has not been paid", according to Malik
▪ Al-Bukhari recorded that Abdullah bin Umar said, "This was before Zakah was ordained. When Zakah was ordained, Allah made it a cleanser for wealth".

▪ Abdur-Razzaq recorded a Hadith from Ali R.A.  said that the Prophet ﷺ said, Woe to gold! Woe to silver.
He repeated this statement thrice, and this Hadith was hard on the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, who said, "What type of wealth should we use!"
_Umar said, "I will find out for you," and he asked, "O Allah's Messenger! Your statement was hard for your Companions. They asked,

What wealth should we use?"' 
_*The Prophet ﷺ  answered, A remembering tongue, an appreciative heart and a wife that helps one of you implement his religion"*.

▪ _""He who covets a thing and prefers it to Allah's obedience, will be punished with it.""" 
Because hoarding money was better to these people than Allah's pleasure, they were punished with it. For instance, Abu Lahab, was especially active in defying the Messenger of Allah, and his wife was helping him in this regard. Therefore, on the Day of Resurrection, she will help in punishing him, for there will be a twisted rope of palm fiber on her neck. She will be gathering wood from the Fire and throwing it on him so that his torment is made harder by the hand of someone whom he used to care for in this life.

▪ _*Likewise, money was precious to those who hoarded it in this life. Therefore, money will produce the worst harm for them in the Hereafter, when it will be heated in the Fire of Jahannam and their forehead, sides and back will be branded with it.* 
▪Ibn Jarir, Ibn hibban recorded Messenger of Allah used to declare  
*Whoever leaves a treasure behind (on which he did not pay the Zakah), then on the Day of Resurrection his wealth will be made like a bald-headed poisonous male snake with two black spots over the eyes*. *The sna🐍ke will follow him, and he will say, 

Woe to you! Who are you!' The sn🐍ake will say, `I am your treasure that you left behind,' and will keep following him until the man gives it his hand; the sn🐍ake will___then devo___dy*.
