Menses Or No Menses

 *Menses Or No Menses*

-----------------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

While Muslim faithful (male and female) warm-up to fast on Arafat day inorder to have their sins for 2years whipped+off (the previous year and the coming year), the menstrating women are not allowed to fast. Yes. But this does not mean that, they have lose-out in any way because it is not their fault to be created as women.

Now,

*What is so special about Arafat day❓*

It is a day where millions of sins are forgiven by Allah (swt). The Prophet (pbuh) said, *′There is no day on which Allah (swt) frees people from the Fire more so than on the day of ‘Arafah’.* 📚 (Muslim)

Undoubtedly, it would be a wasted opportunity if we (You & I) did not spend Arafat day in trying to be one of those people whom Allah (swt) will forgive.

Also,

The Prophet (pbuh) said, ‘There are no days greater and more beloved to Allah (swt) than these ten days of Dhul Hijjah’ 📚 (Ahmad) - So,, just as we increase our prayers, du’as and righteous deeds on the last ten nights of Ramadan, we should also maximise our efforts to please Allah (swt) on the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah especially the day of Arafat.

Also, just as Laylatul Qadr is the pinnacle of the last ten nights of Ramadan, the day of ’Arafah is the pinnacle of the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah, upon which millions of Muslims gather to seek repentance

Therefore,

Whether there is *Menses Or No Menses,* everybody is given the privilge to maximize the goodies the day of Arafat is carrying aside fasting.. And this is the reason why we think this article should get to ummah now.

*Other Best Deeds On Arafat Day Apart From Fasting:*

▪️The best supplication is supplication on the Day of ‘Arafa, and the best thing that was said by the Prophet and the Prophets before him was:

لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له

*“There is no God except Allah alone, He has no partners.”*

📚 [Declared good by Al-Albani]

Transliteration:

La Ilah Ila Allah, Wahdahu La Sharieka Lah, Lahu-l- Mulk, Wa Lahu-l-Hamd Wa Huwa ‘Ala Kuli shay`in Qadeer

So, even a woman in menses can say this dhikr countless times on Arafat day.

▪️We should also repeat much of this:

«سبحان الله، والحمد لله، ولا إله إلا الله، والله أكبر»

*“Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no God except Allah, Allah is Great, and there is no power and no strength except in Allah, the Exalted, the Almighty.”*

Transliteration:

Subhana Allah, Wal-Hamdu Lilah, Wa La Ilaha Ila Allah, Wa Allahu Akbar

These lauds are better than all that upon which the sun rises. They shake off sins as a tree shakes off its withered leaves.. And these lauds are the seedlings of Jannah; for every utterance of them, the Muslim is rewarded with a tree planted for him or her in Paradise.

▪️Repeat this blessed phrase many times also:

سبحان الله وبحمده سبحاالله العظيم

*“SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi, SubhanAllahil Adheem”* (Glory be to Allah and all praise is due to Him).

Slaves of Allah?

Arafat is a day of acceptance of duas and dua is the cord that connects the human to the Almighty and according to a Hadith: *“The best of dua is dua on the day of Arafat.”* 📚(Hasan Al-Albaani in Sahih Al-Jaami’1102)

Now,

Women in Menstration should strive hard to make dua to Allah (swt) on the day of Arafat with or without ablution.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
