One who assumes the position of a king in this world, for instance, is no different from the person who plays the part of a king on the stage of a theatre. His head is bedecked with a crown and he goes about commanding people as if he were a king, even though he has no royal authority. He may later, if the director of the theatre wishes, be either dismissed from his royal office, put into prison or even be sentenced to death. Plays of this kind go on all over the world.  Saints and man-made deities are deemend to respond to human supplications even though they do not have a shred of authority to do so...✍🏻

Some people try to unravel the Unseen even though to do so lies altogether beyond their reach. There are those who claim to provide sustenance to others despite the fact that they are themselves dependent on others for their own sustenance. There are some who think that they have the power either to bestow honour and dignity on human beings or to degrade them, either to confer benefits or to harm them. Such people go about trumpeting their own glory but their own foreheads bear the stamp of their humble bondage to their Creator.

By just one twist of fortune such people may fall of their pededstrals and be trampled under the feet of those upon whom they have been imposing their God-like authority. *All these people come to a sudden end with death.* *As soon as man crosses the boundaries of this world and steps into the Next, the reality will be fully manifest, all the misconceptions that he has entertained will be peeled away, and he will be shown the true worth of his belief and actions.*_

"فَاٰمَنَ لَہٗ  لُوۡطٌ ۘ وَ  قَالَ  اِنِّیۡ مُہَاجِرٌ  اِلٰی رَبِّیۡ ؕ اِنَّہٗ  ہُوَ  الۡعَزِیۡزُ  الۡحَکِیۡمُ ﴿۲۶﴾

Then Lut (Lot) believed in him (Ibrahim [Abraham]) and he said: ‘I am migrating towards my Lord. Surely, He is Almighty, Most Wise.’

[26:160] Al-Shu‘arā-الشُّعَرَآء
"کَذَّبَتۡ قَوۡمُ  لُوۡطِۣ الۡمُرۡسَلِیۡنَ ﴿۱۶۰﴾ۚۖ

(The people of) Lut (Lot) also rejected the Messengers,                                 [26:161] Al-Shu‘arā-الشُّعَرَآء
"اِذۡ قَالَ لَہُمۡ اَخُوۡہُمۡ لُوۡطٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوۡنَ ﴿۱۶۱﴾ۚ

When Lut (Lot), their (kinship) brother, said to them: ‘Do you not fear (Allah)?

[26:162] Al-Shu‘arā-الشُّعَرَآء
"اِنِّیۡ  لَکُمۡ  رَسُوۡلٌ  اَمِیۡنٌ ﴿۱۶۲﴾ۙ

Verily, I (have come as) a trustworthy Messenger to you.                                         [26:165] Al-Shu‘arā-الشُّعَرَآء
"اَتَاۡتُوۡنَ الذُّکۡرَانَ  مِنَ  الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿۱۶۵﴾ۙ

Do you approach only males (to satisfy your sexual desire) from amongst the people of the world;

Prophet Abraham left Egypt accompanied by sarah and his nephew Lot , who then went to the city of Sodom (Sadum), which was on the western shore of the Dead Sea. This city was filled with evil. Its residents waylaid, robbed and killed travelers. Another common evil among them was that men had sex with men instead of with women. This unnatural act later became known as sodomy (after the city of Sodom). It was practiced openly and unashamedly.

It was at the height of these crimes and sins that Allah revealed to Prophet Lot that he should summon the people to give up their indecent behavior, but they were so deeply sunk in their immoral habits that they were deaf to Lot's preaching. Swamped in their unnatural desires, they refused to listen, even when Lot warned them of Allah's punishment. Instead, they threatened to drive him out of the city if he kept on preaching. Lot said to them: 'Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

Go you in unto the males of the 'Alamin (mankind), and leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people. The doings of Lot's people saddened his heart. Their unwholesome reputation spread throughout the land, while he struggled against them. As the years passed, he persisted in his mission but to no avail. No one responded to his call and believed except for the members of his family, and even in his household, not all the members believed. Lot's wife, like Noah's wife, a disbeliever.

"وَ لَمَّا جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَا لُوۡطًا سِیۡٓءَ بِہِمۡ وَ ضَاقَ بِہِمۡ ذَرۡعًا وَّ قَالَ ہٰذَا یَوۡمٌ عَصِیۡبٌ ﴿۷۷﴾

And when Our deputed angels visited Lut (Lot), he felt worried on their arrival and on account of them his strength sank and he said: ‘This is a day of great distress.’ (The angels were extremely handsome, and Lut [Lot] was aware of the evil habit of his people, so he was perturbed for fear of possible mischief.)
