Part of this Hadith was also collected in the Two Sahihs from Abu Hurayrah.
▪ Muslim recorded that the Messenger of Allah said,
_*Every man who does not pay the Zakah due on his money, then on the Day of Resurrection, his side, forehead and back will be branded with rods made of fire on a Day the length of which is fifty thousand years, until when the servants will be judged; that man will be shown his destination, either to Paradise or the Fire.*

▪ _Bukhari recorded that Zayd bin Wahb said "I passed by Abu Dharr in the area of Rabadhah and asked him,
What made you reside in this area?'_

He said,
We were in Ash-Sham when I recited this Ayah 9.34, Mu
awiyah said,
This Ayah is not about us, it is only about the People of the Book.'

*So I (Abu Dharr) said, `Rather, it is about us and them*.

*Let's continue on this verse*👇.                                       [2:28] Al-Baqarah-

How can you deny Allah, whereas you were lifeless and He gave you life, then He will cause you to die and will again bring you back to life, and then to Him you will be returned?

Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala has described our whole life journey, and if we truly reflect on it, it scares us because we realize that no matter how much we travel. In the end we will return to Him and be held responsible for what we did. This ayah begins by expressing surprise at those who insist on being ungrateful to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala and on denying Him. On the face of it, the disbelievers had never denied Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala but only the Prophet salAllah u ‘alayhi wa sallam. The Qur’an equates such a denial with the denial of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala Himself. Then, the ayah reminds man that once he was *“dead” (amwat),* or that he had no life.

He existed, if at all, in the shape of billions of lifeless particles aimlessly floating; Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala brought them together, made them into a man, and gave them life. The ayah proceeds to warn him that Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala will take away his life, and then give it back to him a second time. This second life refers to the Day of Judgment. When Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala will collect the lifeless and scattered particles of each and every man again, and give him a new life. *Thus, the first ‘death’ or ‘state of lifelessness’ was at the beginning before man received life from Allah* *the second death comes when a man completes the life-span allotted to him; and the second life will be given on the Day of Judgment.*

*Let's continue on These verses*👇.                         [2:75] Al-Baqarah-

(O Muslims!) Do you expect that they (the Jews) will believe in you, whereas amongst them were people of a group who heard the Word of Allah (Tawrat [the Torah]), then altered it (themselves) after understanding it, although they knew well (what the truth was and what they were doing)?.
___*PAGE 7*___.
✍️...

And (they have reached such a state that) when they meet the believers, they say: ‘We (too) have believed (in Muhammad [blessings and peace be upon him], like you),’ and when they are together in isolation, they say: ‘Do you tell them (the Muslims) that which Allah has unfolded to you (through the Torah in connection with the Prophethood and glory of the last of the Prophets, Muhammad, [blessings and peace be upon him]) so that they may use it in argument against you in the holy presence of your Lord? Do you not have (even this much) sense?’.

Are they not aware that Allah knows full well all that they hide and all that they show?

Do you command others for piety and forget yourselves, whilst you (also) recite the Book (of Allah)? So, do you not think?
___*PAGE 9*___.
✍️...

Allah ﷻ asks the believers if they expect that the Jews to accept Islam.
*How can they?*
▪ They were the people who modified their Book; they disrespected their prophets and killed some of them.
▪ How could they then believe in and respect Prophet Muhammad ﷺ?
They are the deviant sect of Jews whose fathers witnessed the clear signs, but their hearts became hard afterward. They used to hear the Word of Allah and change it according to what pleased their hearts. [Today, some Muslims]   who cannot submit to the commands of the Qur’an say, there is a need to make amendments in the Qur’an (a’oothubillah). They do not ask Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala for understanding of the Book rather they want to make changes according to what pleases their hearts.
___*PAGE 10*___.
✍️...

We seek Allah’s protection from such an attitude. Allah ﷻ says,
*“…a party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort the Torah after they had understood it.”*
▪ Mujahid commented that ‘a party’ here means the "scholar or the Jewish Rabbis".They understood the Word of Allah (i.e. Torah), but still distorted its meaning and defied the truth. They did so while being fully of their erroneous interpretations and corruptions.
▪ Ibn Zayd said, “They altered the Torah that Allah ﷻ  revealed to them, making it say that the lawful is unlawful and the prohibited is allowed, and that what is right is false and that what is false is right.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
