*What you Choose!*
-------------------------------بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
There are students who are very very comfortable scoring 50%-60% in exams. There are also few students who will score 70%-80% in exams, but yet, remain unsatisfied because their target is to score at least 90%-95% (if they can not score 100 out of 100).
In actual sense,
The first category of students (50%-60% category) are not amongst the failures but they are actually not the best in the class where you have students scoring up to 90%-95%. And I'm very very sure that every wise students in any class will bargain to be ranked higher amongst his or her classmates.
Servants of Allah!
It should be noted that attaining high status in this world and the hereafter cannot be done by means of *wishful thinking and dreaming*; rather it can only be, by taking the measures that lead to that.. Otherwise there would be no difference between one who is honest and one who is a liar or a dreamer😃.
*Why all the grammar above?*
Abdullah ibn
Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported, on the authority of his father, that the Prophet (pbuh) said, *“What an excellent manAbdullah is! If only he could be performing [optional] prayers at night.”* Salim said that after this, (his father) `Abdullah used to sleep very little at night". 📚(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
This means that, even if you are okay with the obligatory swalat, give Sadaqah virtually everyday, establish voluntary nawafil during the day, etc....but you don't pray Tahajjud *"consistently"* or you miss few days every week without Tahajjud, then, you might not be amongst the failures in this world 🌎 but you are NOT amongst the excellent ones. Yes. This also explains why Allah (swt) love people of Tahajjud because it's an opportunity that is given to ONLY the PRIVILEGED amongst HIS slaves.
Besides,
The Prophet (pbuh) said: *“The best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer.”* 📚(Muslim)
Therefore,
If u have not yet set ur phone alarm in a repeating mode, to wake u up for midnight nawafil (at least 2 rakaats) everyday till the end of ur life, pls do so immediately. Yes. Allah (swt) loves consistency in any act of worship. And waking up everyday for Tahajjud is not something difficult.. Let assume you wake up by 2AM, use 3minutes to perform ablution, 2minutes to get dressed, 5minutes to establish ONLY 2rakaat nawafil, 5minutes to make Du'a to Allah.. Total time spent = 15minutes. *Everything In 15minutes,* then, go back to catch up with sleep.
