Muslim on Holidays

 *Muslim on Holidays*

-----------------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

There are people who have been missing out since we finished Arafat day fasting. Why? Because the first 10 days of Dhul Hijja is gone.

In the actual sense,

The truly righteous people are those who worship Allah (swt) diligently throughout the whole year, because the lord of the first 10 days of Dhul Hijja is still the lord of any other months. He is Al-Hayyu La Yamoot Abadah!

My people,

We should not allow appearances, strength, health and youthful age to deceive us. Yes. This is because all of these are nothing but a mirage that one may see as water, but once we reaches it, we finds nothing. Yes. Health will be followed by sickness, youth will be followed by old age, and strength will eventually turn into weakness.

*Bye-bye to Tahajjud*

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) exemplified the beauty of PERSISTENT good deeds (even if it's small). He said:

“أحب الأعمال إلى الله أدومها وإن قل“

“The most beloved of deeds to Allah are the most consistent, even if they are small.” 📚(Sahih Bukhari)

My people,

Tahajjud is one of Allah’s most beloved sunnah practices, performed CONSISTENTLY by His servants. This worship is a good sunnah throughout the year and not only in the first 10 days of dhul-hijjah. And Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) did so until his leg became swollen. Then, his wife Aisyah (r.a.) asked, “Why did the Prophet do this if His sin has been forgiven?” Prophet (pbuh)  said, “Can’t I be a grateful servant?” - 📚Muslim.

Muslim Faithful!

Sufyan AthThawri was heard saying before he passed away:👉 *“If you depart to the hereafter without preparing the luggage of piety, on that Day you meet those who have. And you will regret not having been like them.”*

Therefore,

We should ALL continue with our God-conscious lifestyle eg - frequent giving of charity, the CONSISTENT midnight nawafil or Tahajjud etc....even after the first 10 days of dhul-hijjah.

So,

If u have not yet set ur phone alarm in a repeating mode, to wake u up for *Tahajjud* everyday till the end of ur life, pls do so immediately. Yes. It's not difficult bcos people are doing it everyday without missing.. It's all about priority!

Ending this reminder,

The Prophet (pbuh) said: *“O `Abdullah, do not be like so and so! He used to pray at night and then he stopped doing that”*(📚Al-Bukhari and Muslim

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

Friday and it's dignity.

Friday and it's dignity. O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. Friday is the best day of the week because it was the day Adam was created, the day he entered paradise and the day he was removed from paradise. it was also the day he died and the hour(qiyaamah) will not come except on this day. Sahih. It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever washes (ghassala) and performs ghusl, comes early to the masjid and sits near the imam and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and...

The story of taqwa

The story of taqwa. Taqwa means fear of Allah. There once lived a young woman who was very beautiful lady and had all the qualities a man needed. She was well covered and oneday ,she was attacked with her families. This woman was taken away and brought to a man who was the bandits leader. As she was brought, the man wanted to sleep with her as she was so sad and in pain. As she undressed and coming to her, she said fear Allah and know death can come to you now. If you have a mother or sister like me, don't disgrace and destroy my honor for I won't forgive you  The leader immediately remembered he had a sister he loved a lot and so he quickly stopped and dressed and said to the lady, you can go. All the bandits were amazed of what their leader did. Three days later, the man whose sister was there and everyone in the sister knew her brother was wicked man. So every man was sacred. So a stranger walking by saw his sister and he felt in love with her. She went to her and said I wa...
