Shinning Our Eye

 *Shinning Our Eye*

-------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In Islam, everything considered harmful either to the body, mind, soul or society is prohibited (haram), while whatever is beneficial is permissible (halal). Islam encourage Muslims to sincerely turn to Allah (swt) and prohibits Muslims from complaining around and about regarding their life challenges.. Islam also warn Muslims to stay away from any act of shirk, for it consume their eemaan (Faith).

Because,

Hafsah bint Umar (RA), reported: *“The sallah of whoever approaches a fortuneteller and asks him about anything will not be accepted for 40 days and nights.”*📚Sahih Muslim

Really? Is this serious like this?

The scholars said: 👉 the punishment stated in the above hadith is simply for approaching a fortuneteller and asking him/her out of curiosity😳. Yes. Whether the person believes what the fortuneteller said or not. And believing the fortuneteller amounts to disbelief (ie - kufur) in Islam, which is bigger than having 40days swalat not accepted

*THE MUCH YOU NEED TO KNOW*

Many people addresses such people (soothsayers/fortunetellers) as mallams, Alfa, Shehi, Boka, magician, palmist etc.. I mean those who tell stories about past, present or future..They claim to have knowledge of the unseen and about the future

Muslim Faithful!

Fortunetellers use various methods and mediums from which they claim to extract their information.. They use Tasbaa, sand, reading tea-leaves, drawing lines, writing numbers, palm-reading, casting horoscopes, crystal ball gazing, rattling bones, throwing sticks, torat cards, parrot reading cards, throwing dices etc

On this,

Nana Aisha (ra) reported that when she asked Allah's messenger about fortune-tellers, he replied that they were nothing but a lier. She (Aisha) then mentioned that the fortune-tellers sometimes told the things which were true. The Prophet (saw) said: 'that is a bit of truth which the Jinn steals and cackles in the ear of his friend; but he mixes along with it a hundred lies"📚Bukhari & Muslim

Now,

Since the act is satanic, many of the fortune tellers use jinns😳. Yes. Even if the person who fortunetell is the imam of your village.. The Jinns are able to inform their human contact of the relative present or future.. For instance, when someone comes to a fortune-teller, since everybody has a jinn assigned to him/her *{called Qareen},* the fortune-teller's Jinn gets information from the person's Qareen (the jinn assigned to every human being) of what plans he/she had made prior to his/her coming to see the fortuneteller😳. Yes. So the fortune-teller is able to tell him/her that he/she will do this or that, or go here or there😃. And by this method, the real fortune-teller is also able to learn about a stranger's past in vivid detail🙆‍♀. Yes.  He is able to tell a total stranger of his/her parents's names, where he was born, the acts of his/her childhood etc

Servants of Allah!

Islam has taken a strong position against visitation of fortunetellers and the art of fortunetelling. This is why islam says "Even without BELIEVING the fortunetellers, visiting them could make us LOOSE OUR SWALAT for 40days".

Taking instructions like giving this or that to so so so and so - as charity - eg salt, onions, colanut, bean-cake, used-clothes etc or using items like  rings, thread-like-materials for protection leads to one's 40 days swalah to be thrown into dustbin. Yes. And what if you die before 40days? Are u not finished?

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
