As we all know this was a little thing in the sight of Allah, it did came to pass. Prophet Syamun(Sampson) was also an example cus his mum couldn't  conceive but was giving glad tiding and it also came to pass. Prophet Yahya, Hadratul Maryam, Prophet Eesah(Jesus) are also few examples. Prophet Isaac is among the many Prophets whose stories are not in the Quran. But we all know he fathered Prophet Ya'qub who was also a father to Prophet Yussuf.

*Let's continue on some commentary on these verses*👇.                         [8:50] Al-Anfāl-الْأَنْفَال
"وَ لَوۡ تَرٰۤی اِذۡ یَتَوَفَّی الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوا ۙ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ یَضۡرِبُوۡنَ  وُجُوۡہَہُمۡ وَ اَدۡبَارَہُمۡ ۚ وَ ذُوۡقُوۡا  عَذَابَ الۡحَرِیۡقِ ﴿۵۰﴾

And you (will wonder) if you see (the spectacle) when the angels take away the souls of the disbelievers. They continue striking their faces and backs (with hammers and say): ‘Taste the torment of the Fire (of Hell).’

[8:51] Al-Anfāl-الْأَنْفَال
"ذٰلِکَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ اَیۡدِیۡکُمۡ وَ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ لَیۡسَ  بِظَلَّامٍ   لِّلۡعَبِیۡدِ ﴿ۙ۵۱﴾

This (torment) is in retribution of those (impious acts) which your hands have sent forward, and Allah does not at all do injustice to His servants.

If you witnessed the angels capturing the souls of the disbelievers, you would witness a tremendous, terrible, momentous and awful matter
*يَضْرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَارَهُمْ* 
*they smite their faces and their backs*...saying to them,
*وَذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ* 
*"Taste the punishment of the blazing Fire."*..
In Surah Al-Qital (or Muhammad) there is a similar Ayah, as well as in Surah Al-An`am

The angels stretch their hands and smite the disbelievers by Allah's command, since their souls refuse to leave their bodies, so they are taken out by force.

This occurs when the angels give them the news of torment and Allah's anger. There is a Hadith narrated from Al-Bara' that When the angel of death attends the disbeliever at the time of death, he comes to him in a terrifying and disgusting shape, saying, "Get out, O wicked soul, to fierce hot wind, boiling water and a shadow of black smoke." The disbeliever's soul then scatters throughout his body, but the angels retrieve it, just as a needle is retrieved from wet wool. In this case, veins and nerve cells will be still attached to the soul.

*Angels bring news of the torment of the Fire to the disbelievers.* 
*This is because of that which your hands forwarded.*
This punishment is the recompense of the evil deeds that you have committed in the life of the world. This is your reckoning from Allah for your deeds
*And verily, Allah is not unjust to His servants...8.51*.

"ہٰذِہٖ  جَہَنَّمُ  الَّتِیۡ  کُنۡتُمۡ  تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ ﴿۶۳﴾

This is the same Hell that was being promised to you.                                 [36:64] Yāsīn-يٰس
"اِصۡلَوۡہَا الۡیَوۡمَ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَکۡفُرُوۡنَ ﴿۶۴﴾

Enter this Hell Today, for you kept disbelieving.’

_On the Day of Resurrection, it will be said to the disbelievers among the sons of Adam, after Hell has been shown to them as a rebuke; and warning:_ 
*This is Hell which you were promised!*.... `this is what the Messengers warned you about, and you did not believe them.'

*Burn (enter) therein this Day, for that you used to disbelieve.*

This is like the Ayah:
*The Day when they will be pushed down by force to the fire of Hell, with a horrible, forceful pushing. This is the Fire which you used to belie. Is this magic or do you not see! (52:13-15)*

*Let's continue on some commentary on this verse*👇.                                                     [2:96] Al-Baqarah-الْبَقَرَة
"وَ لَتَجِدَنَّہُمۡ اَحۡرَصَ النَّاسِ عَلٰی حَیٰوۃٍ  ۚۛ وَ مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَشۡرَکُوۡا  ۚۛ یَوَدُّ  اَحَدُہُمۡ لَوۡ یُعَمَّرُ اَلۡفَ سَنَۃٍ ۚ وَ مَا ہُوَ بِمُزَحۡزِحِہٖ مِنَ الۡعَذَابِ اَنۡ یُّعَمَّرَ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ  بَصِیۡرٌۢ بِمَا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿٪۹۶﴾

And you will certainly find them the most ambitious of mankind for longevity, (even) more than the polytheists aspire to attain. Each one of them desires that he should be granted life of a thousand (years). But even if he is granted that, such a prolonged life cannot save him from the torment. And Allah is monitoring their deeds minutely.

This world is a prison for the believer and Paradise for the disbeliever. He who longs to meet Allah ﷻ is not afraid of death.
He knows death is a reality of life and it will occur no matter what we do.
If however, one is not prepared for death or they are too immersed in dunya, they will wish that their death time is delayed.
The word  *arasa [أَحْرَصَ]* means ‘to desire ardently, covet, hanker, exert oneself, take extraordinary pains to obtain,’ etc._
*The Jews are the greediest for the life of this world.*
They are fully-aware of their evil deeds and hence their evil end. Therefore, they wish to live a little longer.
